Review titled Exceptional GP Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Richard Dix - Posted on 22 March 2024
My wife and I have always found the staff and GPs really helpful. They are just amazing. The staff were recently helpful and friendly when we phoned during the day and the GPs phoned us back out of hours and waited at the surgery to hand over an urgent prescription. We have never failed to get an appointment on the same day of a phone call.

Great practise usually but a very rushed quick 10 minutes with a doctor that really wasn’t interested in their patient. A very unsatisfactory appointment with little outcome

Review titled Practice Comment
Rated 3 stars out of 5

If only this surgery was able to handle electronic prescriptions. This would then be possible for medication to be ordered from an online pharmacy with the ability to batch tablets (7 per day) into daily “packets “ thus reducing the possibility of someone with dementia not taking the correct dose or double dosing etc.

Review titled Excellent Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 01 April 2023
We moved to the village relatively recently and are at an age where we having to make increasingly frequent use of health services. Based on our previous experiences in North London, this thought filled us with dread. However, this practice is an absolute gem. Helpful staff, efficient services and good communications. A huge relief.

My repeat prescription wasn’t sent to the pharmacy. When I phoned them I was told the Dr would sign it off by 3.30 the next day. They haven’t I phoned again and was told I would have to phone 111 if the Dr didn’t sign it off in time. That’s really worrying and shocking service.

Review titled Autumn flu jabs
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Michael & Jill - Posted on 15 October 2022
Fairfield surgery PPG requested volunteers to assist today with the queues for the flu jab programme and my wife and I were happy to take part. We were most impressed with the overall organisation, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and nurses who got through a very large number of patients in the morning’s three and a half hour session. Feedback from almost every patient attending was how pleased they were at the speed that the queue was moving and as they left how considerate and efficient the medical staff had been.

Review titled Annual flu clinic
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Halina Keep - Posted on 21 October 2022
Fairfield surgery sent out a request for volunteers to assist with the Saturday flu vaccination sessions. Several people gave up their Saturday morning or afternoon to help. The sessions were run very efficiently by medical and lay staff. Many of the patients complimented on the smooth, helpful and friendly process, especially those who required extra assistance.
