Well that was another wasted face to face consultation. wasn't worth getting out of bed for! Doctor looked bored, tired, was dismissive and failed to acknowledge my concerns. When you have complex health problems a tired locum is not necessarily the person you want to see

Triage service over for the day which they don’t tell you until you have been holding on for half an hour (but I was in the time they say you can phone for triage service) and rattled off what’s wrong. Phone 111 they say so I do. 111 say they will get my doctors to phone me. A few hours later I get a text message saying I am best suited going to a chemist. Problem is they are the ones that told me to phone my doctors. So whole day being pushed from pillar to post not being taken seriously and I don’t feel listened too at all

Dear Anonymous Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read that you were pushed from pillar to post. Our care navigators are trained to sign post patients to the most appropriate service to suit your needs once triaged. After reading your comment I can see that this wasn't successful for you. I was visited at home by the practice heart failure nurse. Her considerate care was first class.Competent, encouraging and totally dedicated. A wonderful asset to the surgery

The whole team are excellent. Every doctor has been thorough, sensitive and supportive. The Practice Nurse is brilliant. She's calm, professional, listens, has a great sense of humour and makes me feel at ease. Their admin team also go above and beyond. I just want to say thank you for the excellent care, it is really appreciated.

Welcomed pleasantly by the receptionist, who made sure that I was seen on the ground floor (without steps). The person who took my blood was most helpful - took blood and answered my queries. Returned to receptionist who couldn't have been more helpful in dealing with an urgent problem - arranged a telephone appointment with a doctor that day. The Doctor rang before we left the town, sorted out a prescription - as always sympathetic and most supportive. I collected my prescription and was able to start the treatment that day. Thanks to everyone the whole experience was professional and positive.

Awful service, rude receptionist, I tried to book new patient appointment for my kids and myself and receptionist was keep saying call next week for a month. I asked her to check their phone records and asked her name, her reply was "not clear line, can't hear u". Absolutely disgrace,

I have just had the best care and attention from my local surgery. Without one doctor’s continued dedicated attention, who supported me, and pushed for services from our local hospital, my rare illness could have easily been misdiagnosed or missed completely. A big thank you for your diligence, attention to detail, and rigorous communication to get me the treatment I urgently required.

Appointment booked 9.10, with nurse, waited 50 minutes. Even though nurse seen swanning around chatting to receptionist told she was very busy. If she treated people instead of chatting it would have been a lot quicker

It is not our policy to keep patients waiting unless there is an emergency and in that instance waiting patient would be informed and given the option of rebooking their appointment. I have never received such good service as I have since joining Baldock Surgery. A very professional, caring experience everytime. From the Reception staff to the Doctors and Nurses I can not speak highly enough.

Was sent for a kidney scan. Docor said to call within 2 weeks to discuss. Called, then told need to wait for letter from kidney specialist. Another two weeks and call back if not received. Called, 16 Aug. Used callback feature. Told no appointments available call again tomorrow. 18th called at 8:01. Used call back. Called back at 8:41. No appointments. Clearly the call back systemt does not retain a position in any queue, the appointment queue, ie it only queues for a call back. But all I got was a poor woman trying to get information I had already told them they didn't have, ie the letter form the kidney specialist to me. So only option try another call tomorrow. Or look for another surgery.
