  1. Review titled Receptionists and GP’s are all very kind

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Vicki Wright - Posted on 27 July 2024

I needed a sample jar but couldn’t leave my house. The receptionist told me that they knew where I live and offered to drop it round to me. They went above and beyond to ensure that I received my sample jar. Such a lovely service. They always make me feel like I matter.

Had a severe eye reaction and allergy.. Phone is very busy, with very difficulty drove there to speak to reception about my allergies conditions which are severe as my eye as yellow glue formation because of allergies ( right eye is closed). They simply said we are closed this afternoon … go to walk in centre or call tomorrow morning to get appointment.

Dear patient Thank you for your feedback I have been and spoken to the staff. Unfortunately by the time you came to the surgery we had reached safe capacity so you were signposted to 111, the Urgent care centre, The pharmacy or eye casualty as options. The practice is closed for Practice Learning time this afternoon for essential and mandatory training so unfortunately there are no appointments at the surgery this afternoon. If you feel that you need a doctor urgently when we are closed the phones will be diverted to an alternative service who will be able to help. If you would like to discuss this further please ring the surgery leave your number and the practice manager will contact you within the next few days. 3. Review titled Not Satisfied

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I had an ongoing test and check-up with a child and during this time, I was removed from the GP system without allowing me to finish up with my child's checks. My child was very sick and, at the same time, searching for a new GP to register with—A horrible experience.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback . I am a little concerned as our process is that we do not remove patients who are out of the area without sending letters and texts to ask them to re-register and giving them a time scale to do so. The only other time this would happen is if the royal mail return a letter saying not known at this address then we would remove a patient. This is because we are not allowed to keep patients on the list whom we know are no longer resident at the given address. Any GP can see you as a temporary resident in an emergency or as as immediately necessary. If you would like to discuss this further and so that I can look into your individual case please ring the surgery with your contact details and I will arrange to ring you or meet with you . 4. Review titled excellent dr at GP

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Vanessa Williamson - Posted on 02 May 2024

Went in for a head cyst removal - i was super super nervous about getting this removed on top of my head in a very noticeable place. The dr was fantastic, calmed and reassured me throughout the experience. The procedure was done within 20 minutes, i felt no pain and we had good conversation to distract me during the procedure. Thank you to my cyst Doctor and his lovely health care assistant who just made the whole experience easy, calm and enjoyable in a funny way! More doctors and health care assistants like you guys!!

  6. Review titled Phone call and text

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Derrick England - Posted on 16 October 2023

I had a doctor ring me back regarding my problem as I had tests done at the hospital they couldn't find anything, but was still having the same issues, so I asked whether I could have a second opinion he said I could but it will take a year as they are very busy, I agreed to that. But on Sunday I received a text message saying I wasn't allowed a second opinion now, I'm not happy at all not being allowed a second opinion, but finding out by a text message, he's been my gp for over 30years, yes the text said at the hospital doctor is going over everything to see if they have missed anything, but being told in a text message is not the way to do it

  7. Review titled Took over an hour before my call was answered

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 March 2023

Called the surgery, was in the queue for 58 mins. Looks to be a recurring theme from the Google reviews. This is totally unacceptable, it's impossible to book an appointment or to simply contact the surgery without taking a half day from work.

I am sorry you had such a long wait. We have just changed telephone systems and are still customising it. We do now have a call back facility which allows you to keep your place in the queue without hanging on to the phone . This system will automatically call you back when you reach the top of the queue.

  8. Review titled Doctor's and nurses are outstanding

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 August 2022

I love the surgery. The doctors are very good and friendly. The receptionists is another matter. You call the surgery, not feeling well (why else would you call the doctor) and you get greeted like you are dirt on a shoe over the phone. If you can’t handle it working with people find another job! I know you guys must be busy but don’t speak to people that way. No compassion, no friendliness absolutely terrible. And then they just close to phone on you without saying bye. So incredibly rude. And it’s not the first time this has happened. What’s the matter with you guys ? People don’t feel good calling you in the first place don’t make it even worse
