    As with some other online reviews I can't believe these negative comments are about the same practice I'm registered with! I transferred to this practice in April 2024 & have never regretted it. I have had great service from all the staff. I've had the most dealings with the receptionists who have always been pleasant, & patient, especially when explaining the systems & procedures which are so different in such a positive helpful way to my previous practice. I've only experienced satisfied patients when I've been in the surgery.i didn't realise it was possible to put reviews on so perhaps the other happy satisfied patients dont either.

    I have only ever received excellent care from this Practice, all the Receptionists have always been very polite and helpful to the best of there ability, as I understand that they to have policies to follow and I personally would not want there job as it is to difficult to please every one, So well done to all you wonderful receptionists. :) The Dr's have always listened attentively, been empathetic and shown me respect when visiting them at the surgery or when speaking to me on the telephone, they have always given me the level of care that I expect. Overall I feel that Dr's surgeries in general are getting a lot of back lash from patients for not giving in to patients demands and when it doesn't go there way, they resort to leaving a negative review (Unfair) if only more people left good reviews when receiving a good service but it unfortunately seems that people only jump to leaving reviews when they feel that they have received a negative experience which I feel is wrong. I have witnessed personally the reception staff being verbally abused, Insulted or just being spoken to in such a rude manner, I feel that this is not acceptable, no matter what there reasons may be. Overall I find all of the staff at Feldon Lane & at Hawne Lane Surgeries all amazing, your all doing a fab job so Thankyou. :)

    I was on the phone for 40 minutes, only to be told at 8:40am that only emergency appointments were being made. My condition was not serious, but extremely debilitating and painful. The telephone message needs to be updated to let people know the situation so that there is no false hope and you're not waiting on the line for 40 minutes. At the moment the practice is not beneficial for working patients. It's not practical to phone up at 8am and spend minutes on the phone. You can't expect to keep your phone with you all morning or afternoon waiting for a call back whilst at your place of work. This is not always practical. We need to be able to phone up and make an appointment like in pre Covid days. At the moment you are offered an appointment for 3 or more weeks in the future. 'Who knows what condition you might be in then?' I understand some issues are in the process of being addressed, but this needs to happen sooner. This needs to be a practice for all. I feel at the moment it isn't.

    I had a doctor ring me back very quickly after phoning for an appointment. Sent a prescription through straight away, very good. Asked me to leave a faeces sample if possible at the doctors surgery on the Friday or Monday. I went on Friday afternoon with a sample. Made to look stupid as being asked constantly which container I had been given? Even though I explained it was a telephone appointment, how can he give me a container! Was then told too late anyway, has to be before 12. Doctor obviously didn't know this. Very upsetting being talked down to, not feeling well and having to walk to the surgery.

I am pleased you received a prompt telephone appointment, however, I am sorry to read that the service you received from Reception regarding the sample Doctor had requested was below standard. This is clearly an area of learning for the GP you dealt with on this occasion and also reception.     Worst doctor’s surgery around Halesowen area. No consideration for there patients, Lazy and dismissive. Had a doctor laugh in my face and takes you 3 weeks to make an appointment even when you call at 8am As you can never get through there is only 1 nice receptionist but forgot her name as they never give out their names. All the others are very Rude and disrespectful. I wrote a huge complaint to their practice manager and still after nearly 3 weeks haven’t heard a response. Do not recommend, They will not help you!

    I have only ever had good experiences with the practice,I have always been able to get appointments, both telephone and face to face if required the doctors have been very supportive and the receptionists have always been respectful and helpful

    I genuinely can think of no negatives of this service. They are a credit to the NHS and the whole environment is loving and caring. All the doctors, nurses and staff are so lovely and are professional and kind whilst supporting their patients. I was rather poorly when I went in and got an emergency referral to hospital due to the diligence and care of the practice staff. It is truly wonderful and I am so grateful for all the wonderful people there. Thank you Feldon!!!

    I have been trying to get an appointment for over 6 weeks, I had an appointment booked which was cancelled without my knowledge and I am still trying to rebook. I have a chronic condition and the Dr is aware I’m in and out of hospital every month with flare ups of my endometriosis. I am never contacted or updated by the Dr. I am constantly chasing appointments and medication. I am constantly spoken to very very disrespectfully and dismissed by every single person I speak to within the practice. I did advise I was trying to move GP’s roughly a year ago to which I was told not to move and the Drs would take ownership of my case and try and get me back to having a normal life. This has been on going for over 6 years and I am still treated terribly.

    the phones are not answered very quickly, between 15 and 35 minutes is usual, getting a doctor to phone is virtually impossible have been told 10 days, and appointments you have to phone every day, for some reason they cannot make an appointment for the next day or dont want to

I can assure you that are reception team are dealing with every call that comes in to the surgery as time efficiently as they can, due to the nature of the calls this can mean that at times there is a longer wait on the phones than we would like. To avoid the delay holding on the phone, the practice can be accessed by our Website at feldon.practice.co.uk, appointment requests can be completed online, once submitted they are sent through to our reception and clinical team for action.
