  1. Review titled Receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

Once again you cannot get past a receptionist to talk to your doctor. I have complex health issues. I am taking part in the stop smoking clinic, and I'm having reactions to products, along with other health concerns. I understand I need to speak to the stop smoking clinic, but this does not mean I have to discuss all of my health solely with them. They are not GPs and have no understanding of my complex health concerns

  2. Review titled Might as well have the phones taken out...

Rated 2 stars out of 5

....for what good they are. Doesn't even go on hold just a message to that they are all busy and ring back later...which goes on and on and on. And all of this to contact them as they have asked you to do...might try semaphore next from the top of the garage.

Tried numerous of times to get through on phone, both my children have been really poorly once I got through I was told nobody could see my children and would have to go to the Ferryhill practice may I add in all the snow we had I had to take them on a bus it’s absolutely disgusting that I’ve had to take them out of the village to be seen too when there is a doctors here and quite frankly there’s never anybody in from now on I’ll be ringing 111 they seem to to help much better

  4. Review titled Badly run call center

Rated 1 star out of 5

Very poor service this last 6 months! I'm never ill, and rarely use the health care system, this last year I've had multiple issues arrive, however after being pushing for help this last 6 months I feel like I've been massively let down, not taken seriously, very rarely speak to the same person twice in a row and quite frankly feel ignored! I've never been out of work in my life, however due to this ongoing problem (which is still not sorted!) I'm now unemployed and unable to look for work due to the level of pain, I'm currently taking a lot of otc pain relief a day (for 4 months straight) told this to the Dr and was given codeine... dont fix the problem just mask it, despite all the leaflets and posters in the practice about not taking pain killers. The surgery is ran like a call centre with levels like a video game (level 1: security/reception, level 2: nurse, level 3: nurse practicioner and the final boss: an actual doctor!) I've had over 60 appointments/ events in the last 6 months and only been allowed in the surgery for assessment 2 times, every other appointment is on the phone! They tell you not to google symptoms but can diagnose over the phone! I feel very very disappointed in what this surgery has become and the sheer level of neglect and empathetic void. I know the health service is more of a sick service in the Uk but this isn't even sick care, it's no care! I've been using this surgery since birth, never a problem until now. And I don't think I'm the only one with this opinion either!
