I called Filey surgery this morning after having difficulty breathing properly. I spoke to the receptionist. The doctor called me back within 90 minutes and asked me to see him in a couple of hours. He checked me over, reassured me and arranged an ecg to be carried out straight away. It transpired that he had undertaken my examination in his lunch hour! The ecg was undertaken in an adjoing room by another medical specialist, after which the doctor came into the room and again, reassured me that the ecg was fine. He asked his colleague to take some blood samples which was done there and then. I was less than an hour at the surgery. The whole experience has been caring, professional, selfless and efficient. I am hugely grateful and proud to be a patient at this excellent practice.

Chronic Athsma patient severe breathing difficulties asked for gp appointment was, sent a text from gp to go to Bridlington walk in who then advised if no improvement go gp. Day 4,again tried to get gp appointment as breathing deteriorating,told again to do triage and even spoke to reception, get another text to say go to Bridlington. walk in so is death on of there out come targets? I work in the nhs and am appalled at this third rate sevice. Our only option will be A and E which is completely unacceptable and unnecessary

Had a medical issue and was asked to attend surgery even though they were on a break. Within 20 mins I had seen a nurse and GP. Had a full medical and given the all clear. Superb staff and great service. Thank you.
