    Called up to make a non urgent appointment for my son for a rash but was told that only telephone appointments are pre bookable and that they will refuse one for a skin condition. The only option for a skin condition is to join the mad rush to try and get an on the day appointment at 8am. This is a waste of our time and the doctors time as that appointment should go to someone who really needs to be seen urgently. If this system isn't changed I will seriously consider looking for abuser practice even though I'm pleased with other aspects of Fitznells.

    People on the phone are awfully rude, not supportive or helpful, phone lines always busy and when you get through there are never any appointments left. I have been trying now for over a week to book by calling every day and not had any luck. They tell you to call the next day and it’s the same scenario - when I try to ask for a manager they put down the phone on me. I explained it’s important and they said call 111, which I did. They then didn’t follow up the 111 referal. They’re a mess of a GP and get all the government funding and do nothing for patients. They need to re-introudce online booking system as phones are impossible

    My 92 year old mother has been ill in night and recently come out of hospital. Following a paramedic coming out and speaking to GP was prescribed some medication and told it would be ready in 2-3 hours, 6 hours later drove over from Sutton where I live and guess what prescription was never done and sent! I am fuming, wasted journey! Telephoned and told if I want to complain I have to do it online! Not happy with Fitznell surgery

    I try to avoid the doctors usually as I can generally get the help I need from the pharmacy but when I really need it I have found staff and doctors at Fitznells to be caring, efficient and responsive. I visited in January because I was concerned about an ongoing cough. The response was positive in respect of tests etc and the upshot of it all was the identification of a heart problem which I am now receiving care for. I cannot praise them and their colleagues at Epsom hospital enough.

    On a Saturday I had a sudden pain in my right ear, which made me feel off balance and ill. I was too late to telephone for a Saturday appointment, but was able to obtain one the next morning, Sunday. I was given advice and support and my concerns were addressed. Not everyone falls ill during GP practice opening times - so long may this sensible weekend GP availability continue.
