  1. Review titled Receptionist not helpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

Asked to speak to a diabetic nurse as I had run out of tablets plus they were not working. Sugars going up too high even with tablets. She gave me an appointment in 2 weeks time, saying it was next available one. Wouldn't let me speak to a Dr. I blacked out 2 weeks ago because they were so high that's why I went on tablets. Now haven't got any. I was getting really scared, that's why I rung. she was so unhelpful. Been at this practice 34 years now but it has gone really down hill. Drs are nice when you can get through to them. Think I am going to have to change doctors.

  2. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

I rang 111 with an insect bite that got infected, they told me to have the following day off as I needed to be seen in 12 hours, they sent the information through to forge. I rang in the morning, sent photos through at 8:30am and while I was ringing them back at 10 to 6 that evening to ask what was happening the Dr rang me, I missed the call as I was on hold trying to ring them, I finally got connected and was told I needed to make another appointment. I hadn't had the first appointment.

  3. Review titled Disgraceful

Rated 1 star out of 5

This surgery was one of the best pre covid, now I believe they’ve used covid as an excuse to become lazy with customer service and care. Most doctors are brilliant as are the nurses. The receptionist seem clueless and careless. Iv been on hold for 45 minutes just to be told they’re at full capacity, Iv had severe tonsillitis for a week that hasn’t cleared up, I can barely swallow but apparently this isn’t a medical emergency. Iv getting absolutely frustrated at the lack of empathy from a place that should have this at the heart.

  4. Review titled Terrible patient care

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Deborah Egan - Posted on 02 June 2023

I had an almost fatal heart attack in August '22. When the brilliant team at Cardio care in the Northern General discharged me into the care of this GP practice my heart sank because I suspected I wouldnt get any after care or monitoring and I didn't. My medication was due for review in May 23 and the practice pharmacy hasnt been in touch with me as we enter June. Everything to provide post cadiac infraction care has been done by me. Thank God I can read and am resourceful. This is a terrible surgery and defined by its management inability and lack of compassionate care I really couldnt recommend it to anyone.

  6. Review titled Can’t get appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been trying to get a appointment/ telephone consultation for the last 3 consecutive days . I start calling at 8.30am when the phone lines open and initially get disconnected as the phone lines are busy then when I do get through after the 23rd- 33rd attempt I am told the surgery is at full capacity. In response to this I ask what am I suppose to do to ? the receptionists response to this was to physically get to the surgery for 9am , or go to accident and emergency. I explained I have previously done this on the advice of the surgery and once I got to accident and emergency I was told it was I should have gone to my gp and shouldn’t have wasted the accident and emergency departments time . I feel disgusted at the way I have been treated , the surgery needs proper Management.
