    Very positive experience with the practice pharmacist. Left an email message last evening, this morning at 8.30 I had a phone call. The problem was discussed, she then had to phone the pharmacy. She then immediately phoned me and the problem was resolved.

    The clinical pharmacist rang to discuss the outcome of a recent hospital consultation. The clinical letter I had received contained a few transcribing errors and she was able to explain and reassure me about the ongoing treatment plan. An excellent consultation.

    When attending my appointment today the person I seen was really kind and caring and helpful. She made me feel so relaxed but also a conversation we had made me walk away and think about things. I have been with this doctors surgery all my life I'm not saying they are perfect as no doctors surgery/doctors are perfect they still make mistakes as we are all human. Not only did the person I seen today was so comforting and kind and caring but all staff in this surgery doctors and receptionist and nurses they all are very polite I wouldn't ever change my doctors surgery I'm happy with everyone that works at this surgery 😊.

    Tried to contact the surgery to obtain a telephone appointment for medication needed following an operation to be told I needed to use the new on line service. Previously this process took about 10 minutes.. This time it took 45 minutes using the on line booking system as unfortunately none of the questions were relevant to my problem so had to contact reception 3 times to try and resolve the issue, who I have to say were very helpful. Found the whole process time consuming and not helpful. This a shame as have always found the practise to be very good , both the doctors and the admin staff, now it feels like they make it as difficult as possible to speak anyone. I'm sure some of the old and vulnerable must find it very confusing and just give up.

    Excellent doctors but try booking an appointment. Booking is online only and only open during surgery hours so if you're working a proxy has to act for you making a nonsense of the triaging. Only one weeks appointments are open at any one time and so availability is very limited meaning that often one has to play the game for morning after morning. By the way ignore the online message which says if these appointments are not OK for you phone the surgery because the surgery cannot do anything for you. Excellent doctors really annoying trying to book.

    I found ringing to book my sons appointment at the time it starts allowing calls at 8.30am (could do with updating this if at all possible to earlier) not easy due to school run time. So being on a phone and walking my son to school who has Asd is very tricky. I managed to get appointment friendly receptionist offered several times and asked if same day or not an emergency. I thought he can wait, and choose a time of 9.15 a week later. Strangely I had a phone call at 8.25 they day before the appointment. When I went to the appointment apparently it was booked for 8.30 and they tried to ring. So they tried to ring the day before I checked my phone when home. The receptionist did try and do all she could to re book him in however the tech could be updated to a text message to confirm any appointments would help improve this booking service and if changes made to also text to call. I didn't notice any voicemail come through. But the whole experience was very frustrating.

    I have been reading previous reviews about the new Triage system which I believe started in Jan/ Feb of this year. I find like a lot of the other reviews that this current system is a step or three backwards. Patients having to put down ailments that has nothing to do with why they are trying to make an appointment just to get through the triage system. I've just tried to book a blood test and was going around in circles for 10-15 minutes so I gave up. I will find an alternative venue. God knows what I'll do if I really become ill with this system. By the reading of some of the reviews of the new triage system I think a lot of patients are running out of patience.
