Review titled Good experience

I had major surgery last year which came with complications. But managed to contact the GP surgery for an appointment whom referred me straight to the previous ward (rather than waiting hours in a&e). The surgery have been supportive post surgery and helped when it was needed.

I completed an online consultation for the first time and was impressed that it stated I would receive a response the next day before 6:30 pm true to the word I did receive a call from the GP at 2:30 pm unfortunately I was driving and missed the call , I rang the surgery and explained to the receptionist what had happened she spoke to the GP came back to me and explained that the GP would call me back one more time which he did . Very satisfied with the service I received from both the GP and the receptionist.

Review titled Registered patient letter for my kids from this GP
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 August 2022
First of all they rip you off for £42 to write a 2 sentence confirmation that you are a registered patient there thats all, secondly they tell you the letter will be ready for 4-6 weeks, £42 and 6 weeks wait for 2 sentences , does not really add up. Last time i had a letter taken too long, they told me they will contact me but never did. The letter was sitting there for two weeks. The staff are rude and unprofessional.

Dear patient, I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated regarding the waiting time for a letter. As this is considered private work this work is completed outside of working hours. Due to current demand NHS services have needed to be prioritised. I am very sorry if this was not communicated with you when you requested the letter to be completed. Kind regards Patient Experience Officer
