The care and advice myself and my daughter received was outstanding! The GP spoke to my daughter taking care she understood the treatments options available to her. She tailored her questions so that my daughter could answer in her own way (selective mutism) We are very lucky to have such a fantastic gp practice in Winchester. I would never change and have been a patient for my whole life nearly 39years! Thank you.

After 2 suspected UTIs, and lower region discomfort. The Doctors, navigators, pharmacists were very supportive and understanding. They were very accommodating when leading a busy life with work and a grown up family life. They recommended the correct creams that assisted with my problem that had gone on for a few weeks.

Receptionists, triage nurses and drs involved with my care recently have been very reassuring and professional whilst caring. Feel very fortunate to have Friarsgate as my GP practice ( consistent since 1981!)

I came away from a recent meeting with a GP at this practice feeling that my concerns had been listened to and effectively dealt with and followed up. It was very reassuring. Since then, they have continued to do their best to help. I’m pleased therefore to leave a positive review of this practice.

My regular GP and another GP I have seen listened to me and I felt really heard and considered and cared for and that they wanted to give me and get me the treatment I needed. I had an MRI and there was a mistake in the report and the surgery took care of getting it corrected and informing me when it was done. I didn't have to do any chasing and the service from the admin team felt warm as well as professional and was extremely helpful - just what I needed when I was feeling really unwell and vulnerable and not very able to cope.

I moved from St Clements Practice a few months ago because of their rudeness, difficulty getting any appointment, and restricted hours. Friarsgate is so different - friendly, pleasant and helpful staff, ease of booking appointments, excellent GPs, and above all a light and relaxing environment. I am so glad I moved to this Practice.

We have only recently moved to the area and this practice has been amazing so far. I really like that you can call and book appointments or use the online system. Both seem really efficient. The care navigation team are friendly and helpful and can direct you to the service you need. I also really like that you have a named gp that they try to ensure you see. It makes a big difference. The wait for appointments is not long at all. Definitely recommend this surgery.

Worrisome high blood pressure readings over the last couple days were of some significant concern. Although appointment with my GP was not available for almost 3 weeks the very helpful Care Navigator fixed for an afternoon appointment with the duty doctor who was able to proscribe emergency pills

The care coordinators have been really helpful, both on the phone and in person, to me lately. I was able to change my GP easily, for personal reasons, and my current GP is professional, well-informed and understanding. The nurse who gave me my B12 injection was the nicest person ever to have jabbed me in the arm!! She also understood my reasons for needing this a week early which was extremely helpful. I am not saying that the staff are pushovers but they have understood when I have needed help and have acted professionally on that understanding . I am a carer for my husband who is disabled and the issues I face because of this role are well understood at this practice. This does make my life easier and hopefully healthier.
