I have visited this doctor a few times this year regarding my kids health.. Everytime he has been so patient, kind and on the ball... I always feel as though he listens throughly and does everything possible to help them... I cannot thank him enough!! Brilliant practice, brilliant doctor!!! Thank you!!!

  2. Review titled Some great doctors/nurses

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Before having my baby, I wasn't too fond of this practice. However, I cannot fault the care they have given my baby. A particular Doctor and Nurse really helped change my view on the place. Thank you

  3. Review titled Waited 1hr and half and Dr wasn’t even there!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ms Begum - Posted on 29 March 2024

I was sent to Gardenia for my 2yr old daughter as my usual GP didn’t have face to face appt. I took my 10m old baby with me too and had to wait an hour and half to be seen, the worst thing was the Dr only had arrived ant the gp after we waited there for an hr and 15mins! Waiting with 2 very young kids in a room full of people and with no toys provided for entertainment, I wouldn’t be surprised if other people got annoyed. Any mum would know how challenging that would be given the kids were hungry and wanted to nap. Not fair at all and the dr was not even apologetic!!! If she was running late, they could’ve called to rebook the appt at a later time, happily would’ve done that. And I wasn’t the only family waiting, there were at least 2 other mums with young children who started becoming fussy too. Terrible service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Carter Harvey - Posted on 13 December 2023

This surgery provides good old fashioned health service. We've been with this practice for 20 years. The Doctors, nurses and all staff treats us with respect. The practice is always busy but everyone is calm, patient and helpful. Good old-fashion values. Thank you all for great service

  5. Review titled Great

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Sadia kauser mahmood - Posted on 18 October 2023

I have been with gardenia and Marsh farm practice for 6 years overall the surgery great. The Doctors and staff members are lovely. Nurses are fabulous I now it can be hard to get an appointment sometimes but NHS 111 is linked to the GP practice. Staff members are caring and understanding despite no appointments they always advice on what's best. I haven't had any problems so far If your test results are not as they should be they always book you in for a appointment to discuss the outcome. Surgery offers a wide range of services which are helpful.

  6. Review titled Very disappointed

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Jackie gunn - Posted on 22 June 2023

I have been a patient at this practice for 40 years plus...In the past the doctors have been very professional and the standards extremely excellent, but what a let down since Covid, sadly it reflects upon the whole of the staff, and in my opinion the doctors are letting themselves down. I have had no reason for an appointment for nearly 4 years , however I did wish to discuss blood test results with him ...but again ...no response...I now subscribe to a Private Health Care Scheme ...what does this say about this practice.

Dear Jackie, All our result are reviewed and filed by your our GP's and and they make a comment on all investigations regarding further care and if you require a appointment we will book you, should your investigations be normal, the GP will not arrange to see you to inform you that your investigations are normal. Should you wish to discuss the findings of the investigations, you may wish to consider seeing or speaking to our Clinical Pharmacist who would be able to answer your questions. Our Practice Nurses and HCA's are also able to provide advice on areas such as cholestrol management and raised blood sugars.

Dear Patient, I am sorry that you feel you have unsuccessful in obtaining an appointment for your son. Our receptionist staff are very accommodating towards children if they are informed of the issue. The Practice allocates 18 appointments a day for the NHS 111 to triage and book patients as necessary and the GP Urgent Care Services will add comments to the notes for the GP to review patients if deemed appropriate. The Practice may not have a email address as a forum for patients to complain but it does have a very good and regularly updated website which has a contact form for patients which are reviewed periodically by our team during the course of the day. Should you still need your child to be seen, please contact the Practice and provide a brief description of the issue and our reception team will happy to help if they can.
