Review titled Poor Consultation
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Richard Rosenthal - Posted on 28 June 2024
Very disappointed with my consultation with the diabetic nurse at 2pm today I thought and hoped the patient's views and desires were equal to those of the consultant. In other words it should be teamwork. For the consultant to attempt to browbeat to change my regime of treatment set by two hospital consultants just over a year ago is unacceptable. And her statement of 'I write the prescriptions' is deliberately intimidating to a patient who is vulnerable. Hopefully my next meeting with her will be on her part less combative and then

Review titled Rude staff unhelpful
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Marian Burgess - Posted on 28 June 2023
Had a reminder tex for a appointment at 10 . Got there to be told it had been cancelled. You have to be a Crystal ball to know it’s been cancelled. Moved it to 2.30 . Then I am missing part of my prescription so go the the pharmacy lady . To be told I could ring round myself to try and find a chemist that had it . I explained I had the same problem last month with the same tablet . No help . Just rude .

Review titled Impossible to make an appointment to see an actual doctor
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 May 2023
I have found it impossible to book an appointment to see a doctor at this surgery. I have tried ringing up first thing every morning, but when I do finally get through all the appointments are gone, and checking their online booking system at midnight each night, but no doctors appointments ever appear (or even though I’m their at midnight they go before I can book them). You can see a health care assistant but that doesn’t help me as I need to change medication and they can’t help with that. To make it worse today I got a text stating my blood results indicate I may have a serious problem and need more bloods but they’re only letting me see a health care assistant so I won’t be able to discus this with them and now have to deal with my anxiety and fear alone without any reassurance. Awful awful practise that should not be allowed to run like this.

Review titled Worst ever doctors
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Marian burgess - Posted on 22 April 2023
Your Review: I have just registered here with . Worst experience ever. After a month on trying to get through finally got a answer at 8.31 ask to book a appointment with a doctor . Erh no got a nurse who was super qualified as she could do the same as a doctor so when along saw her she said would speak to the doctor and they would call me later . My problem would be solved today . Also I needed a emergency bloody test . First one available 27 th . No phone back from anybody . So the next day a called told them I was waiting for a phone from a doctor after I saw this nurse . To be told aww no doctors don’t call you ? But you could call at 8.30 tomorrow morning. To book a call with a doctor . What’s the point as you can’t get through and never any appointments.

Review titled pathetic triage system now harder to see somone
Rated 1 star out of 5
by lee - Posted on 15 November 2022
Tried ro make an appointment today only to be told they no longer take appointments over the phone. You now have to go online and fill in a absolutely usless form that gives you no option of date or time and submitte it as a triage request. Then I got a text saying it will be reviewed within 3 days keep your phone nearby. This is supposed to make it easyer to get a appointment. And then once full they shut the link down. It's a complete discrace. It's not good enough to make people wait with no idea if they will get a call at anytime there is no part whitch gives you choice of Dr/time/date So now you have no idea if you will get an appointment. Reportedly it will make life easer for everyone. We'll everyone accept us patients especially us with mental health problems who don't handle things like having to wait with no idea what's happening. Just another way of the practice making life easer for themselves and keeping us in the dark. The system needs ro be scrapped and the surgury needs a massive improvement. Honestly avoid joining if you can.

Review titled Poor service.
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Mrs Bridget Smith - Posted on 25 November 2022
So I went on line just before 8.30 this morning and waited for the online appointments to open at 8.30 it never did. This service is worst than phoning the surgery. How do you get an appointment? It’s even harder now.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you have not had a positive experience trying to make an appointment with the surgery. The practice takes feedback very seriously. The practice recently moved to AccuRx triage which involves submitting a request from 0830 Monday to Friday via the appointments section on the surgery website or contacting the surgery via telephone for those unable to. A Clinician will then triage your request and advise the reception team to book you appropriately following their review. Routine appointments for GPs or Advanced Nurse Practitioners are no longer bookable via SystemOnline, only for members of the nursing team. If you would like to discuss your concerns we would be most grateful if you could contact the surgery Practice Management Team.
