I was asked to submit a review via my mobile following my annual medical. Unfortunately I cannot get the link to work. Therefore I will try to guess the questions ! My appointment was on time I felt I had time to ask any questions The process covered all the areas of my health/lifestyle The practice nurse was very helpful and pleasant and made me feel relaxed during the check up. The procedure for notifying of any follow up needed was fully explained I feel this is a valuable worthwhile service to ensure I maintain the greatest benefit in enjoying a good lifestyle. I would recommend Giffords surgery to friends and family and would score your service 10/10 Thank you If you require any further details please resend the survey to my email address

I submitted an e-consult this morning, I had a call within 30 minutes and an appointment an hour later. The Doctor was very approachable and supportive, reception staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and hugely supportive of our brilliant NHS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Used the e consult around 7am in the morning, by 8am I had a phone call with a same day face to face appt with a doctor. She was fantastic, listened to me and helped me instantly with my issue. I’m always apprehensive about going to the doctors but I am so impressed with the service, kindness and care I received today and has put my mind at ease should I need any help in the future.

Very rarely use the surgery, except for repeat prescriptions. Over the last few weeks, I had reason to use the e-consult system 3 times. Each time, I was dealt with within 12 hours, and saw a doctor 30 mins after the telephone call. The second occasion involved a work accident, and antibiotics were needed, again, I was able to collect these on the same day, in my way home from work. The third occasion, was an ongoing complaint, which was dealt with via a telephone call, with medication and a referral within an hour of the e-consult being completed. Very happy with the system.

I did e consult this morning, had an appointment at 10.40, was seen and leaving the practice by 10.43. Efficient and compassionate care, extremely well organised. Thank you.

I used the E consult for the first time to book an appointment for my child. The form was simple and straightforward to use with yes or no questions and saved me time by having to wait in a que. I had a reply within a matter of hours and an appointment scheduled for the following day. The appointment was dealt with exactly in time and made the whole process completely stress free! I appreciate not everyone wants to use an online service but even supporting someone to use is easier than waiting on hold for long periods of time. Pleasantly surprised and have no concerns about using again! Thanks Giffords and also to the super kind and lovely HCA that saw us today!

The econsult service is really efficient. I have used it several times since it has been launched and very impressed with how quickly I got spoken/seen to. On one of my forms I submitted I sent to the surgery at 5:15pm and had a phone call with the GP by 6pm. Within less than an hour I received the advice and a prescription too for treatment. I like that I am able to upload photos of the ‘problem’ as find it a lot easier doing it that way than trying to describe my symptoms. I work a job where I have to be available to take inbound calls so cannot always take the time out to call the doctors, the econsult form allows me to fill it in as and when meaning I can continue with my normal day to day.

I phoned Giffords Surgery for an appointment at 2pm today - the doctor phoned me back at 2.42pm and I collected a prescription from Melksham Pharmacy half-an-hour later!

We arrived for our 6 weeks checkup for our daughter. My wife got a text in the morning saying appointment at 2:45. We show up at 2:40 and it looks like the appointment for my daughter was at 2:30, so the doctor decided not to see us and reschedule. I took time off from work for this appointment, I am appalled by the lack of empathy shown. Why would you schedule a baby before the mother, send the mother the appointment time by text but not the baby and just flag her for a no show?

Rang for appointment took several calls taking 1.5 hours to eventually get through, to be told no further appointment available that day. Rang next morning (12 attempts and counting) but just getting engaged tone. Very poor.
