    I am writing on behalf of my husband & myself. These Gps work really hard including the whole team. I have total respect for these hard working Gps , they do there upmost for us especially for my husband. We made online contact and requested a face to face appt for anthony. It was all dealt with within few days we had a telephone appt first then a follow up face to face appt on Monday 16/12/24 at 16.10pm with one particular Gp who is outstanding & a credit to the surgery & NHS. Our gp practices are under resource and staff over worked , please give them a second thought they are only trying to do there best for all there patients. Show some respect & kindness. What an amazing Gp Dr tf is . Wishing all of Gillian house staff a peaceful Christmas . Thank you all for everything you do for us, such dedication from hard working people. Mr & Mrs Hollingsworth

    Saw the most amazing gp. He was so reassuring and kind. He listened to what I said. Gave me the appropriate treatment. Also said to comeback if still unwell. Thank you

    My Appointment was booked by Gillian House a week back via text for a check up, my appointment was booked for 9.45am, I turned up at 9.35am booked in via reception where I was asked to do a blood pressure reading via a machine in the middle of reception, did my reading and sat down waiting for my appointment, at 10am I asked the receptionist if my appointment was going to be much longer. she told me that I was next, after watching two more customers come in and go through, I went back to the receptionist and told her that the other receptionist told me I was next yet its now another 15 mins and two other people went straight in, she told me they were here to see the Dr, I was like well who do you think I am here to see, I told her I would be leaving as they didnt even have the decency to inform me that they were running over 30 mins late, by this time the reception was becoming full and many people were coughing and splattering everywhere, it felt like they wanted me to catch whatever everyone else seem to have got, very unprofessional to not let me know they were running late and as for the receptionist that lied to try and keep me waiting in reception, good luck to you with that They say the NHS is broken, well with Gillian House Surgery the staff seem to think it is okay to make appointments and not make the appointment on time, yet for sure they expect the patient to be early, as they could not be bothered to tell me or inform me they were running late and then having the cheek to lie to my face is beyond me, very unprofessional Surgery and very unprofessional staff that are happy to lie to your face to keep you waiting

    Thank you to the most amazing gp. You rang me and ask me to come in even though I did not have an appointment. You knew I was worried about something and you gave me advice and suggested treatment. You also made a follow-up appointment. Really appreciate this.

    I am in my seventies and was prescribed four items of medication some years ago. I order and collect my repeat prescriptions every two months. The system worked perfectly until quite recently when a new NHS ordering system was introduced. Four days ago using the new format I ordered my prescription. Today I phoned my pharmacy to ensure they had received a signed off prescription from my GP. They had not. I tried to phone my GP but was told I was 17 in a queue . I held the line for 1 hour and 25 mins and the line went dead. I tied again this time using a facility to get a call back later. No reply How do I feel, disappointed. I spent much of the day trying to obtain a simple prescription and have almost run out of my medication. There is obviously a problem with the IT System, but on the switchboard at Gillan House there are not enough phones or people answering. I have no idea when I will get my medication. I feel the NHS is now failing in this area.
