Review titled Booking a review
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 February 2025
I called on a Friday to book a review, got told just to order my medication and and that I will hear from them about a review, I was told last time I needed a review that’s why I was calling in the first place. I ordered my medication, then come Monday I received a text from the surgery to book for a review, which I tried to do on the Friday. The new receptionist was rude both times I called and made out they knew better than me, when I already work myself in a GP surgery. If I was listened to the first time I called and not pushed away it would have saved myself and the surgery time. I had to keep insisting before the receptionist decided to even take my date of birth proving they didn’t even pull my records up straight away when I called. I have been with this surgery since I was born and I’m a grown woman now, I have never had a problem in my life with the surgery before and have always been treated lovely. However I have not felt that way contacting the surgery recently when speaking with the new receptionist

Review titled Unprofessional new receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5

You have a new receptionist. I find this individual very unprofessional and loud. Booked me in for a blood test in February but never told me that the blood test would be over at a different practice so I turned up on time at the wrong place. Seems to be overly cheerful dancing and singing to music which is not really professional in front of a practice full of porley patients. Also very loud on the phone being argumentative with patients.

I am sorry to read that you feel you have had a bad experience and feel one of our receptionists is overly cheerful, which you feel is unprofessional. We currently have 3 new receptionists, so it is therefore hard to investigate your comments due to them being posted anonymously. We have checked our cameras but have not found any inappropriate behaviour from the footage we have viewed. If you would like to get in touch via our generic email DDICB.gladstone@nhs.net, we would be happy to investigate your comments further. Diane Young Practice Manager

Review titled Disgusting
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Kirsty - Posted on 19 March 2024
Ringing the phone tonthe surgery at 5 past 8 being on hold until half past 8 to then be told all the appointments have gone is disgusting, myself and my family don't go to the doctors unless it's needed, which you would know when looking at our notes, you then say my husband can have a time to come and sit in the waiting area but there's no time frame, he works for a living he doesn't have all the time in the world to sit and wait. We are moving to a doctors that actually see you or give you the chance to be seen by a doctor at another surgery. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. And dont give me the nhs is struggling its a gp surgery that is owned privately pay your doctors better, treat patients better.
