Review titled Thank you
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by J Barnes - Posted on 13 April 2024
I cannot thank the doctor I saw enough or the nurses I spoke to for helping me. After a rollercoaster in the last fortnight of being ill, the time and effort I was given from my surgery meant I made a full recovery in the end. Getting an appointment was difficult but when you need them, you can't thank them enough. High praise.

Review titled Great response
Rated 5 stars out of 5

We had such a great experience with Glastonbury surgery today. A severe case of sciatica was treated at home on the day. Receptionist was very patient and helpful and managed to allocate a home visit as the patient was not mobile. We really couldn’t ask for a better solution. Thanks to everyone involved. Jayne Rendall.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I saw an excellent doctor today at The Glastonbury surgery and can't recommend them highly enough. The doctor was so thorough, patient and went to such an effort to ensure nothing was missed regarding tests.

Review titled Dreadful

Phoned the surgery on behalf of my wife as she is unable to make phone calls at the moment, asking for an Emergency Appointment. Was told she had to use their website and register via my GP. It is a waste of time using this surgery. The receptionist was very uninterested and couldn't wait to put the phone down. This surgery has become worse over the last few years. I will be looking for a new doctors as the whole practice seems uninterested in giving the care they took an oath to give

All i needed from them was an email address to give to my private clinic, but they can't (won't) even supply that. Since covid this place is just bad.

Review titled Dreadful service

I rang at the usual 8am time to book an appointment - I still don’t understand why they make patients jump through sometimes impossible hurdles by making them call when everyone else is calling at the same time in the morning. Anyhow, I rang feeling unwell - I have had Bell’s Palsy this year, a recent bout of Covid and an episode of Shingles. I was concerned about my health due to ongoing nerve pain in and around my face and I spent time trying to explain this to the receptionist and she said she would book me in with a nurse only. I found this dismissive as I explicitly explained I wanted to see a doctor. She would not listen and pretty much hung up on me as she was in a rush as it was 8am in the morning when everyone else was calling. I have had to book a private appointment as there seems no hope for NHS GP practices anymore.

Review titled Awful service

On various occasions i have called to get an appointment for myself or my young son over the last few months. I am still yet to get an appointment to see a doctor or even to speak with anyone. On all occasions i have called 20 to 30 times first thing in the morning and when i eventually get through i just get a recorded message to say all appointments are full. How does anyone get an appointment with this surgery!
