I had an emergency flight and contacted the receptionist over the phone to check if the GP could authorize my repeat prescription. I was assured that it could be done. However, upon visiting the chemist, I discovered that the GP had not authorized it. Subsequently, I contacted 111 to request emergency medications.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I am sorry to read your dis-satisfaction in our service: our timescale for authorising medication is 48 hours and then you need to allow time for the pharmacy to make up your order. You make reference to having to take an emergency flight so I'm sorry that we couldn't facilitate a quick enough turn around of your order but pleased to hear that the 111 service were able to provide the medication through their online emergency prescription service. You may want to consider downloading the NHS App and ordering your medication on there, you can also nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect it from. Want to say a massive thank you to the two wonderful nurses that seen me today. I felt listen to, seen and taken care of. Like a Woman to a Woman! Gleadless MC is one of the best in the City, in my eyes. Always welcoming receptionist and super supporting staff!
