I don't normally leave reviews but i wanted to let the Practice know how easy i find the new appointment system to work. As a working mum it can be difficult to have the time to sit in a queue on the telephone waiting to speak to someone. Today i filled out a form via the website and within 1 hours i recieved a link asking me to book an appointment which i was able to make after my working day. Fabulous!

I had to leave this practice due to how absolutely awful the service is. I am now at Longton Hall Surgery and it is amazing, they go above and beyond which cannot be said for Glebedale medical practice. The triage system is an absolute joke. The receptionists and practice manager are the rudest people I have ever spoken to. They clearly all absolutely hate their jobs and think it’s ok to speak to you like something on the bottom of their shoe. The receptionists and manager both told me I wasn’t entitled to a doctors appointment for a condition I have diagnosed. They think they know it all despite having no medical training, hence why you want to see a doctor which is apparently not allowed. I didn’t even want an urgent appointment and was happy to have one the following week but they refused to give me one. My mum went to the surgery multiple times and was fobbed off every single time, turned out she had stage 3 cancer. I don’t know how this surgery is still able to operate, you’ve only got to look at their Google reviews to see how negligent and incompetent the staff are. This surgery needs looking in to asap.

I used the new triage system for the first time today. When I had no response by 2 o'clock I rang the surgery to ask why. I was told that doctor would look at my request and if it was urgent he would have contacted me,otherwise someone would ring me before 6 o'clock. Needless to say this never happened. I think I will definitely have to change my gp surgery. Don't know if they will be any better but can't be any worse

I saw the Dr yesterday at the Merton street practice , and by far the best consultation I have had , he listened and explained all things to me

I emailed for an appointment for my elderly mother stating her problems. I has a reply and a date for an appointment within a couple of hours. Admin as always we're courteous and helpful.

Receptionist was lovely and made sure that I got an appointment for my son, I couldn’t get through on the phone in the morning so emailed and she called me the same day which I wasn’t expecting so that was nice. Seemed that she genuinely cared that my son got seen to by a doctor :)

I recently saw an amazing GP at the practice who really took her time to listen to my issues. She was so deligent and she didn't rush me or dismiss any of my concerns. She made me feel at complete ease and suggested I book in with her directly for a follow-up appointment in a fortnight's time, which I thought displayed a genuine interest in my care, and it gave me a sense of her willingness, support, and a certain continuity that I haven't felt in years. Thank you so much to the doctor in question.

I used the email appointment service for the first time to book a hrt review. I sent the email on Tuesday evening, by Wednesday afternoon I had received a phone call and an appointment booked for later in the day. Can not fault this service and will definitely use it again to book non urgent appointments.
