I've had a mixed experience at this GP practice. The doctors are fantastic when you can actually see them, but getting an appointment is a real challenge. However, the real issue is with the reception staff. I understand it's tough dealing with patients all day — I work in customer service myself — but there needs to be more empathy and patience when communicating with people who are in pain or anxious about their health. I've been trying to get an MRI for months now, and when I finally found out from the MRI department that my results had been sent to the GP three days ago, I called to check if they were available. As a mother of two who works full-time, and struggling with increased pain, I was hoping for some reassurance. Instead, I was met with a blunt response, telling me I had to wait, that "I’m not the only one," and reminded this is the NHS — the same NHS I contribute to monthly. I understand the pressure they're under, but a little compassion could go a long way.
