Good staff here, both clinical and clerical. Pros: - Good communication - Good support structure - Friendly team (Thank You Admin noushrin for my appt and Thank you clinician tanya for seeing me in a prompt and professional manner). con: The new Dr iQ is somewhat worse than what it was in terms of interface and feels like it has more unnecessary steps to sign up and use than before. E.g. the messaging system, cant view any messages from the GP team, they disappear when you click on them, then you have to go threw a few more steps which takes you to a web browser and then you can see the messages. Poor interface if an app has to then open a web browser tab to do anything on. Also doesn't allow you to request medication on behalf of others (e.g. elderly parents) who do not use the app. I was literally told the service is closed (around 4pm?) and couldn't request medication. The app needs to improve, but Generally the staff and team as a whole a good and reliable bunch who can handle your care.

I am a registered patient at this practice for the last 3-4 years whom has been having major issues with gaining an appointment recently. Dr iQ consultations are always blocked, now there is a message always showing the App currently facing technical difficulties even if I reloaded the app several times but no signs of improvement seems to be happening which has prompted me to seek further help by speaking with your unhelpful receptionists in person whom keeps insisting nothing can be done by them as they cannot make any appointment's over the desk or by phone. Due to the poor customer service from your practice I had no other choices but go directly to a nearby A&E whom were fast and efficient to see into my ankle injury. The doctors there gave me an MRI scan showing no fractures can be found at the time so they advised by administering some painkillers, ankle support, ice to lessen the inflammation then advised if the swelling does not improve further after a week then I should contact my GP who can then send me to see the correct specialist. Ever since this last consultation my ankle is still very swollen, bruised and the injury does not seem to be improving at all so now I’m limping around everywhere. The whole redirection and being told to get in touch with my GP by the public helplines and hospital seems to be going no where as your practice only keeps pushing me back to the app which is impossible to book an appointment leaving me feeling I am stuck in this limbo or tone deaf. Please, please, please can someone help and give me a concrete answer as how to can get to see a GP as soon as possible I need my ankle to get better for work and in general.

I was able to contact the practice via Dr. iQ and was able to get a face-to-face appointment. I was booked in for another appointment the following week. I am now able to be seen sooner than before

I am writing to bring to your attention the difficulties I encountered today while attempting to book an appointment. Despite my efforts, I found that there were no available appointments through the Dr iq system. Additionally, calling to schedule an appointment was equally frustrating, as all slots were filled by 9 am. The current system appears outdated and unresponsive to patient needs. Instead of receiving assistance, I was advised to visit accident and emergency or call 111. I also noticed a lack of available female doctors, which is concerning. I hope these issues can be addressed to enhance the patient experience in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for our surgery. We would like to address your concerns regarding booking appointments. We have now transitioned to a system for appointments where all patient requests via call and Dr iQ are triaged by a clinician. This system filters patient requests, ensuring that appropriate appointments are booked while directing those who don't require a consultation to relevant services. These services include options like Pharmacy First, respiratory clinics, minor eye clinics, and others, providing patients with faster access to the care they need. We also offer out of hours appointments on Saturdays and HUB appointments throughout the week, which are offered once our own appointments have reached full capacity. I have had two poor experiences. It is not possible to request appointments by phone, only pre-recorded messages. The app is similar, I cannot submit requests after 7:15am or so and you have to try again the next day. I have tried 2 online consultations (which you have to do as you cannot request an appointment directly via app). The first time, I wanted help with a chronic condition (3 years) and after waiting a few days to be able to submit an app request, I got a response the same day telling me to read the NHS help pages for the condition. There was no way to respond, appeal to a human or ask for anything more. I went into the practice in person and explained I was dis-satisfied and wanted to see a doctor. The staff on the front desk were helpful and I did get a late appointment the same day. After waiting over an hour past the appointment time with many many people, I saw a doctor. The doctor referred me but I never had any follow up nor referral appointment and it was not possible to chase up without physically going to reception each time and asking. This is the only way to talk to a person and progress anything. But as everything is verbal, there is no record. If you have a job or otherwise cannot drop everything to queue at reception every morning you need help, this is not a good solution. Then again, you hopefully have private healthcare instead. My other experience was equally disappointing. My request via app this time was responded the same day and indicated medication had been prescribed to try. When I went to the pharmacy however, they had no record of this. Again, there is no way to chase this via app or via telephone. There is an email option with purported 48 hour turnaround or again, I need to speak to staff and go in person. I appreciate the hard work the staff put in what people do. Despite my poor experiences, all my interactions with staff were always polite and helpful and I was always treated with mutual respect. The technical barriers however make it extremely difficult to get to those helpful real people.

I went in for a review, was informed by staff, in clear feedback that i had completed the review this year. She still completed my Bp and made sure I understood the instruction and advice given. Good friendly service. Would recommend this individual staff to anyone. Thanks

I am new to UK, I saw the HCA this week for my Prediabetes appointment with my husband. She made me understand and discussed results with me. She made me comfortable as I had limited English, but she was Bilingual, which made it easy for me to communicate with her. I am happy with service as it was good , clear and easy communication. This was also typed by a friend of mine. Wanted to share my review on this individual staff member. Thank you
