    I am absolutely at my wits end with your medication ordering online, I take many meds to treat Diabetes, fibromyalgia and arthritis to name just a few. My meds have always been ordered at the same time and to begin with they were issued at the same time, well I have not received a full order for months now, I’ve put messages on the order, telephoned the receptionists even spoken to one of the doctors about the fact that every month one or more of my meds need a review and the Dr confirmed that I had had all of my meds reviewed together and shouldn’t need any reviews until later in the year. Well this time it’s a medication that protects my kidneys and helps my blood pressure and I have now had none for a week and once again they have not been issued because they need to be reviewed. I look forward to your reasons for this poor service with interest.

    Had an appointment for 8.00am Tuesday morning (10/01/2023). Arrived on time but doors were closed. Waited with other patients in the cold for over 20 minutes and still nobody would let us in. Eventually someone noticed a member of staff through the window and alerted her to the situation. Eventually we was let in, but it was obvious that no-body at the practice could be bothered or concerned about the patients being left outside in the cold. This is further evidence of the very poor service provided by this surgery.

    Visited practice for review of blemish on nose. I was seen quickly and efficiently, and reassured by the Doctor, who asked me to attend again next week for a biopsy. Having met this Doctor, l have no worries about attending again next week.

    I have a been diagnosed with a slipped disc and double sciatica. I needed to speak to a Dr about my ongoing medication, specifically how to cut down, and a concern about how long I have been on opiates. The receptionist wouldn't let me speak to anyone until the next "standard" app slot, in a month. Even though the Dr dealing with my case had suggested I get it reviewed at this time. The receptionist was short, curt and seemed in a rush to get me off the phone. I am surprised she didn't simply hang up the phone when she had booked the app, I told them I needed repeat medication and fitness to work note to get me through for the month, and she became more clearly frustrated and short with. Overall I have came away feeling stressed, anxious, a little tearful and unsure on what to do next. Which is a real shame as I know from first hand experience that the surgery has many brilliant receptionists, who are usually happy to help and will discuss with me my needs, and look up my details to get an understanding of the what the ongoing issues are.

    Like many in the past, I've endured the arduous process of attempting to make contact with this practice, often taking many hours, if not days!! On this occasion I was connected within 15 mins after requesting a call back. Receptionist was extremely polite, helpful and professional throughout. This was very pleasing in comparison to some previous experiences. As promised, a Dr called me that afternoon.

    I put a repeat prescription in the allocated box on Monday 26th September 2022 for Apixoban. I went to my nominated chemist on Thursday ( today) 29th September 2022. It was not there. I phoned Gp surgery ( Meadowside) at 11.30am and was told an emergency prescription would be put through and be at my nominated chemist after 4 pm.( I had already missed my morning tablet). I phoned the chemist at 3.40 and at 4.10 and my husband went to the chemist at 4.25 but still no prescription had been issued. My husband then drive to Meadowside surgery where it was shut( training)!!!. The pharmacist at the chemist then told me to ring NHS111 and they would allocate me a prescription. I am absolutely fuming. Prescriptions put in the box, days before tablets due are not being issued on numerous occasions.
