After waiting 6 weeks for a non urgent appointment I was sent for an x-ray. I was told to make another non urgent appointment. I tried and was told there wasn't any so ring at 8 o'clock in the morning. I was then told I couldn't have one of the daily appointments and the earliest I could have is in over 4 weeks time just to get results from an x-ray that probably would take less than a minute to explain. In the meantime I'm in pain. Been with this surgery my entire life and my parents before me and always been happy how quickly you can get appointments but unhappy with this situation. Also my daughter was unable to get an appointment for something more serious. Disappointed!

Ever since registering here in late 2021, I have received excellent service from the practice and the subsequent hospital appointments. I have had several visits to various hospitals and health centres in Sunderland and each one has been positive, generally on time and without exception, pleasant and polite staff. Each referral from my GP and the team has taken place within at the earliest 2 days and the latest 2 weeks (including non-urgent). One particular appointment was referred on a Thursday, I was called on Friday and seen the following Tuesday, as it was Bank Holiday Monday. Thoroughly recommend this surgery.

I was extremely disappointed to arrive at the practice at 5.57pm on 6.6.24 to find that it was already closed and I could therefore not pick up the prescription that my Husband desperately needed. I appreciate that I was cutting it fine, which was as a result of unexpected traffic, but if the surgery and the chemist state that they are open until 6.00pm I expect them to stay open until that time. It’s disappointing that you do not do what you say you’re going to do.

I will recommend theis surgery over and over. Reception Staff are extremely helpful in getting your appointments sorted or last minute prescription. I wanted an inhaler for my son as he was going on school trip and found out we ran out of inhaler, I panicked and rang the surgery at 17;30 this is out out the prescription hour and the lady was so nice , she reassured me advising me she will make it urgent so my son could have his inhaler for his trip. Thank you so much .
