  1. Review titled Cannot get appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 December 2022

After trying 288 (yes you read that right) times I finally got in the telephone queue! Took me 20 minutes to get from 26th to 1st in the queue so at 8.30 I finally spoke to someone who said sorry no appointments left! Please contact NHS 111 I politely informed them that NHS 111 had told me to contact me GP for an appointment today and they said, you will need to go to a walk in centre. They have oversubscribed themselves and have too many patients to deal with and its the patients that are loosing out. Avoid if you can.

  2. Review titled Best social prescriber!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 December 2022

Social prescriber was brilliant! If I can give zero stars to the practice I would. My experience whilst having a bad fall I required follow up hospital appointments, tests and the whole experience was traumatic and stressful. My experience was the same as what everyone else has written, couldn’t get appointments, despite being told to call at 8am, rude, unhelpful reception and an invisible and unavailable doctor who didn’t care. I am still waiting for my appointments and tests and here we are 8 months later!! Whilst going through an extremely stressful episode, the support I received from my Social Prescriber has been invaluable. She was there, chasing the appointments, a voice to listen to my worries, and despite me going for one appointment the results didn’t come clear so I have to do it again and I’m still waiting for the appointment! I want to say ‘Thank you’ for providing the high level of professionalism, empathy, understanding, consideration and care needed. She has great attention to detail, has been thorough, and always chased things. When i was getting no where, she intervened acted immediately after using her great listening, communication and interpersonal skills. She showed devotion and an unwavering commitment. This helped to alleviate much of the stress that I was under, especially after my traumatic year. The regular telephone calls and call back when I needed it, has been a great support. The level of professionalism is ‘second to none!’. A big ‘Thank you’ to my excellent Social Prescriber. She is an asset to the practice, plugging the gaps of the other useless staff who just keep the seat warm. No doubt she she going above and beyond for other patients. I am so grateful I had her invaluable support, which got me through a difficult time. Thank you !!

  3. Review titled Poor experience consistently

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 October 2022

We have had a consistently poor experience trying to get face to face appointments for our two young children. In addition when our youngest 1 year old had a temperature of 40 recently we called to book an appointment. Having not heard anything all afternoon and as it was almost 5pm I drove to the surgery. When I enquired as to progress with getting help from the GP I was told someone had accidentally completed the call and therefore he was not on the urgent list. Incompetent and frustrated are the understatements. We did eventually get a call later but the stress caused it caused is far from ideal. We are also waiting months later for a hearing referral for our eldest son. We will be moving surgery shortly and I would be wary of joining this surgery.

  5. Review titled Unable to get a phone appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 July 2022

I live in London and called on behalf of my elderly mum who struggles to get out and is on the home visit list. I called 4 days out of 5 for a telephone appointment but took a break on Wed as my experience of calling was so disheartening . All calls made either on the dot of 8am as instructed or just before or 1 or 2 mins after so not like I was calling late into the day. Every rime required multiple calls because the lines were busy. This was Followed by message saying the system had reached capacity. So I had to call many times before even getting to the queueing system. On Monday it was 30 mins before I got to queue. On getting through I was always caller 20 something. Usually caller 29 or 26. I was always then on hold for a while and every single day on getting through I was told there were no appointments including no telephone and told to call 111 if its an emergency. I implored by explaining my mums situation to no avail. I am not at all sure what is going on at this surgery. I live in densely populated area of london and have never experienced this situation so unsre why there have been absolutely no appointments at,all and no advice able to be given as to when or how is best to get one. This was my experience from 11th to 15th July and there are no signs that this situation is going to change . I am hazarding a guess that this GP is woefully underfunded maybe no doctor or one doctor. Maybe very limited appointments including telephone appointments but only guessing as no explanation offered

  8. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mr Paul Russ - Posted on 12 July 2022

After trying for several days ringing at 8am for an appointment only to always be call number 28 in the queue, and waiting for half an hour to be told no appointments left, I registered on line to try a different approach only to find no appointments available within 2 weeks , it appears you cannot book and appointment at this surgery, it’s a joke !!!!!
