My post-surgery recovery process was perfectly handled by the nursing and admin staff at Greensands. They made me feel safe, comfortable, and confident along my road to recovery. I know I'm in safe hands should I need care again.

Avoid this practice, it’s totally impossible to get an appointment, there are so many barriers. You are always palmed off on to other Heath care professionals - there are no doctors it seems. Terrible

Dear Patient, Thank you for your comments. Although, unfortunately you have not provided us with full details, we would still like to respond as we feel it is important to acknowledge any patient feedback. Research has proved that 70% of patients presenting with health conditions or illnesses do not need to be seen by a GP, but an appropriate alternative clinician, such as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). We are fortunate at Greensand Health Centre to have a wide breath of experience and skills in our ACP team who support our 5 GPs, and all of whom have specific specialities enabling us to provide optimum patient care. This is in addition to other specialists in the areas of MSK, paramedics, mental health, learning difficulties and social prescribing. Unlike many other surgeries whom may find it difficult recruiting to the traditional GP model, due to the well reported national shortage of GPs, we have tried to be innovative and embraced the challenge of growing and developing a varied, and highly skilled team as mentioned above. The above also means accessibility to see an appropriate clinician, should be that much easier and patients will be able to obtain an appointment when they need to see someone one, albeit urgently or within 2 weeks of requesting for non-urgent matters. We would also mention the simplest way to contact us for an appointment, or any administration enquires is via the Accurx online consultation tool.
