I visited the surgery as per my appointment, arrived a bit early and was seen on time, after examination and a chat with the doctor I was very happy with the outcome

I atended for a minor procedure but I was going through a very difficult time both physically and emotionally and the staff I saw were amazing!

I recently had a referral for a suspected arthritic problem with my knee. The appointment was for 8-50 in the morning and was on time to the minute. The Skeletal practitioner who examined me listened to my description of the pain that I was experiencing and gave me an unrushed, thorough examination. I was pleased with the diagnosis given and the outcome from the appointment. I was told that I would be put forward for X Rays on my knee and that appointment has arrived and is within a week of my being seen at Gresty Brook surgery.

Went to this practise few times this month and asked to get an appointment with a doctor but it’s always impossible and each been told to expect a phone call . I’m off and mentioned every Sunday and Monday so obviously this phone call was set up for Saturday, when I’m very busy . Why the receptionist don’t understand my demand ? Smiling is free , that’s for all the staff at this practise .

Appointments are available Monday to Saturday; we do not offer appointments on Sundays. You can request routine appointments by submitting a request on our website, or a member of Reception can do this for you. Urgent appointments are available via the on-call GP on a daily basis. If you advised a member of our team that you did not want a Saturday appointment, we are sure that the Team Member would not have booked one for you, but we are happy to investigate this for you. Seen very quickly (same day) after describing my symptoms, thank you. The only feedback I do have is that when I initially rang reception and described my symptoms to ask if there were any book-on-day slots, I was informed I needed to use the website form. I mentioned I thought this form was only for appointments >48hrs away and not for urgent ones- and the concern with my breathing - I was advised I still needed to use the form. I completed the form with the same info I had described to the receptionist and was sent a text that asked me to ring the practice immediately to book an urgent appointment and not to use the form for urgent/ on the day appointment enquiries. I just wanted to flag this up as I felt I was doing the wrong thing either way! I was seen straight away which is brilliant, so thank you, I appreciate how much of a workload everyone must be under.

Do like the online form you fill in prefer this to having to wait ages on phone to get through . Was referred to pharmacist who couldn't help me and said had to see G.P so this seemed pointless and not sure why this would be done . GP did call me back and see me the same day so this was good

We are sorry that the pharmacy could not assist you, please be assured that the practice does have a pathway of conditions that can be referred to the pharmacy to treat, and this will have been followed by the practice. I had a telephone consultation with an acp, he was friendly, caring & really informative. I didn’t feel rushed, we were able to discuss the issues & he clarified information! My Daughter recently had to have a telephone consultation with a Doctor. My Daughter is only 16 & it’s a big deal speaking to a Dr at that age, I was sat next to her & heard how caring & reassuring Dr was, she listened & spoke to my daughter in a way that she understood. Her mind was put at ease & she feels comfortable with the next steps. Thank you!!

I’ve been seen for steroid injection following the triage form I completed. An appointment was made for me on the following day. The doctor who saw me was professional, polite, patiently explained all risks and benefits, answered all my questions and administered the injection. I was relaxed and confident that everything would go well and it did. I am very happy it was so quick and easy to get an appointment and I’m very happy with the outcome of my appointment. Great service. Thank you.
