I emailed a scanned letter to my GP, from my consultant at The Royal Marsden, Chelsea, requesting an update to my prescription for cancer treatment. I received an acknowledgment within a couple of hours and it was actioned by the end of the day.

Shockwave therapy experience was amazing. Treatment fully explained and practitioner was warm friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. Had excellent sessions and would highly recommend this service. Thank you

Unable to get a same day appointment on many occasions, on hold for over 40mins. Clearly over subscribed with patients. Wouldn't recommend this practice

Staff are not telling you the truth I phoned three times and was told my referral had gone through now I get an email saying that the Lipid referral still not be done. Also I am not very good with technology and was told today I should have gone on a link.

Very difficult to get through ,to make appointment even telephone call appointments take a month after they receive the results of tests It is frustrating when u don’t know the results Seeing a Dr is almost impossible ,speaking to a Dr takes at least 4 weeks It is very unacceptable

The new system for booking online isn’t any good for patients who need to be seen to find out what they have. It seems to pick up on patients with already diagnosed with serious illnesses. A person who doesn’t know what they have may need to see a doctor urgently to receive a diagnosis. Not everyone who uses the system has a diagnosis so will get appointments in a few weeks time and there aren’t many options with dates and times available. Also, you can only specify one symptom to be triaged and not the many you may have. I came from a GP where I filled in a box on an online form with my symptoms and would always get an answer with help or an appointment. This system does not benefit patients only doctors to organise their day. If you ring up to get an appointment on the day, you are advised by a automatic message to use the online system unless you need a nurse appointment, book under 16, etc. It all seems very unfair and complicated for the average patient. There should be a system that is good for all. If you get to speak to someone, staff on the phone they seem confused as well and I don’t blame them they need to follow a system that is not working.

Really excellent care and support, with several follow up calls and face-to-face appointments over getting me on the right medication. Very thorough and efficient feedback on extensive blood tests. Have used this surgery since 1984 and to me it goes from strength to strength.

I suffered an infection just before Christmas and was in need of medication. I found the reception staff very responsive and I had a call back within a few hours, from a practitioner, who prescribed what I needed. I was expecting negativity and barriers, what I got was a wonderful can-do attitude from everyone I spoke to.
