Review titled Difficult to speak to anyone
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Via telephone it is very difficult to get through on the phone lines. Hold times are really long. I wanted to change a booked appointment to a telephone appointment and am unable to.

Review titled Appalling systems

Now required to complete a form by multiple choice questions to be offered an appointment. More red tape to delay healthcare and it doesn’t work!

Review titled Prescription Requests
Rated 1 star out of 5

Very inconvenient prescription requesting system. Takes a long time to set up an online system. Recently submitted a written form request at the GP, but due to a mistake and carelessness of the GP, the wrong item was ordered. So the nominated pharmacy has to reorder the correct prescription item and so I have to wait again for the order to be restocked.

Review titled Appointments

Just would mention I had appointment with doctors and had 3 symptoms I wanted to bring up and said inly could do 1 and would have to book another appointment. I had 2 queries looked at but seems a waste of time to keep on booking another appointment as thats why it is busy to try and get another one in this instance I was told they allow up to 15 minutes per patient and was probably there for under 10 mins so could have sorted other one out in 5 minutes Think this should be sorted out and maybe it will free up long waiting list if was dealt all at once

Review titled Impossible to get an appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 July 2024
I rarely go to the doctors but this is the second time I've needed an appointment this year and been unable to get one at any time. I rang and they said I wasn't able to book by phone, I had to do it online (not sure how patients who aren't comfortable with tech manage this). I went through a whole load of questions online, most of which weren't relevant and then at the end, it said there were no appointments available. The receptionist had said when I called that I could always go to A&E, but surely this isn't a good solution and A&E should only be for emergencies, not chronic issues? We have been patients for many years, but I'm not sure if, because they have the private section, this has caused the real degradation in service.

Review titled Amazing practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

For the first time I’ve found drs that actually listen and really want to help and take their time to help. All the services they offer is amazing for the first time I don’t feel intimidated. Unfortunately there is a nurse who I feel does bully me but the good outweighs the bad. Thank you so much

Please can you consider using the screens to show when a patient's name is called. It is extremely difficult to hear names being called for those suffering hearing loss.

Review titled Caring & considerate
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was trying to get a phone consultation for my son, who works shifts and has erratic hours. I was lucky enough to be assisted by the most helpful and welcoming receptionist. She was patient, talked me through the process and, with my son's permission, helped me fill in the necessary paperwork. Our needs were definitely met this morning & this Asian lady, I wish I knew her name, who also opened the surgery doors to let us in was efficient, kind and a real asset to the surgery. Full marks for patient care. Thank you, nice lady!

Review titled Shocking booking system
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 May 2024
My 18 yr old daughter needed to see a GP about sudden onset of a UTI on Tuesday. She had to go through the online triage system and was sent an email a few hours later to book an appointment. The first appointment was Friday - 4 days later. She is in the middle of A Levels, was in a lot of pain and couldn't be seen for another 4 days? Outrageous. I paid for private GP services to help her. Goodness knows what state she would have been in if it had been left. It's never been easy to get an appointment but there always was the option to ring and get an end of day emergency appointment. Really poor and am looking to move surgeries - no wonder CQC rated inadequate.

Review titled Appointment letters
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Mehdi - Posted on 21 May 2024
I do not want to change my personal information. I am just requesting that my GP appointment letters to please be handed directly to me so I can give them to the nurse myself and to ensure I attend the appointment because I have missed some before. I would be more than grateful if you please do it this way. Please
