Review titled fantastic practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Samantha Brien - Posted on 21 December 2023
I can’t thanks the nurses and doctors in this practice enough, they go above and beyond, I had so many appointments regularly and I was struggling to remember to book all the appointments because the calanders sometimes weren’t open a month in advance, my nurse was so helpful setting tasks for herself to book my appointment when it was due to make sure I could get my treatment on the day it was due. I can’t thank her enough it relieved so much stress because if I couldn’t get an appointment delaying the treatment I needed every 28days it had a massive impact. I also needed specialist bloods on a specific day two weeks before my infusions they always went out of their way to make sure I could have them, I know a lot of people get frustrated when ringing for an appointment and can’t get one but I have always found the practice to be fair and honest the staff answering the phones were never rude and always tried their best to help!

Review titled Amazing Practice (Catchment area System lets them down)
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by J Smith - Posted on 28 January 2024
Having been at the practice for 10 years I believe this one of the best in Warrington. Lovely helpful staff appointments same day when needed. Well established GPs and nurses at the practice. I thought I'd found my GP for life. A service we need to be able to trust with the regular GP visits my family have and for ease of access. The problem occurred only when we moved house last year and discovered we were 0.3 miles outside their catchment. The practice would not let us stay despite our regular visits and the need to keep continuity of care and the length of time we've been with them. We know all the staff and they are lovely. I was devastated and I still am and I feel let down. It's wrong that GPs can forcibly remove (deduct) patents who still live in warrington and pay their taxes for the GPs in the town as a whole. I'm now at a GP further away which completely undermines the catchment system and what is supposed to be for. To help patents access a GP local to them! I now sit in traffic right outside Guardian street to get to my new GP which is far from helpful. In my view I should still be at the GP I chose for my family.

Review titled Excellent service and care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Kathryn Mannion - Posted on 04 September 2023
This practice offers excellent service and care. The administrative team go out of their way to help and support their customers on a daily basis. I needed some help with changing a password on my online account. Help was offered and the issue was sorted speedily. This is only one example of the care and support given. Doctors and staff are wondeful at this practice. Thank you.

Review titled What does it take to get an appointment
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 February 2023
Been trying to get an e-consult to discuss new meds with doctor. But a new trick in their practice. E-consult has not been available for past 3 days seems once it's overwhelmed it's closed down. Tried to make telephone appointment told none available until 28 February. The whole thing is a joke. Been with this practice a number of years but extremely dissapointed in the service provided!

Review titled Menopause Review
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 February 2023
Overall a great practice, but was left feeling somewhat underwhelmed by a menopause review. Having asked a specific question about symptoms and whether this could be reviewed in a different way, I was met with a brick wall:- the healthcare professional was advising me my request wasn't possible because it goes against the NICE guidelines and the treatment I wanted to discuss "doesn't really work" I was signposted to the private sector, which I have arranged, at a cost to myself. Left the appointment somewhat downhearted - the request I made was within the NICE guidance but the impression I got was the healthcare professional had been instructed not to pursue requests similar to mine.
