i find it easier to get an e consult, i get a very fast response. Doctor was very thorough and excellent service. Doctor my on and was very happy with the service

Being anew patient i was very impressed with starting from the receptionist to the doctor. The doctors were understanding and caring. I received my appoint fairly quick.

I have been tried to make appointments by calling as soon as it turns 8 am for a number of days. Although it is busy all most all the time, the rare occasion I get a chance to get on the queue the phone was hanged up on me after waiting for over 30 minutes. A couple of women working behind the counter can be extremely rude and unhelpful when asked just a basic question. One of fhem actually instructed me to call 111 or 999 even though my sickness doe not required emergency service. They also would never allow to speak to the surgery manager. I once manage to speak to the manager, but it seemed they all are friendly supporting each others action. It is truly a terrible surgery not fit for purpose. It is a shame even though the surgery is 3 minutes walking distance from my house, I am now looking to change my GP to a different location, so I can get a better GP service.

Dear patient Thank you for your feedback I am sorry you are having difficulty accessing the surgery over the telephone, we understand how frustrating this can be and encourage our patients to use different methods of contacting us You can download the NHS App or visit our website at www.halbuttstreetsurgery.co.uk and click on 'Contact Us' Staff are trained to signpost patients to appropriate services for urgent care if there is no appointment availability at the surgery so I am unable to comment on the staff response to your medical issue. This has been the worst GP ever. I am pregnant and have hand problems and I can't get through to the. I have a phones consultation at 10.30am and still waiting, been 1 and half hours

We understand how frustrating this can be and encourage our patients to use different methods of contacting the surgery Patients are not expected to contact the Doctors when an appointment is booked, the Doctor will call the patient and whilst every effort is made to adhere to appointment times this is not always possible and the sessions will run late.
