My e consult was responded to well within the expected time. I had missed all the calls but still was seen the same day. Nice, friendly Dr who gave me the consultation and I could go straight away to pick up my medication. Everything was explained well including a possible follow up. I felt very reassured and my problem had been dealt with very promptly.

I submitted an online request for medical help and got a phone call back within 39 minutes which resulted in being able to see a GP that same morning.

I've been texted an incorrect link but you can't reply to the text. So I phoned to ask for the correct link and have to wait on hold. After 15+ minutes of waiting I finally got through to be told the connection was bad and rather than give me a moment to move they immediately hung up and didn't even try to call back. So now I have no choice but to drive in, to ask for a correction to their original mistake. Why is it so impossible to contact via email or text for these administrative tasks?

Sorry this happened to you. With the eConsult IT system we are now able to leave the Admin econsults running for longer. The aim will be for this to be open from 8am until 3pm every day.

Went to Parkway surgery at 4pm to get a urine sample bottle and explain my problem. Reception said the gp would ring me later. Before I got back to my car, he had phoned and asked me to go to the Hall Grove surgery. I drove there gave my sample, had a consultation and examination with gp. Got prescription for antibiotics. Went to pharmacy and got them and this all Before 5pm. Fantastic service from start to finish by both surgeries

The student doctor I saw was very thorough. Easy to understand and took the time to listen. The other Dr who I saw briefly was very good too. This has been my families surgery for many years. And have never really experienced any issues. Hallgrove practice gets a 👍 from me. Keep it up.

The doctor was quick to book an appointment in, helped me to understand my diagnosis and reinforced that it would get better. I felt confident coming out of the appointment knowing what was causing my symptoms

Every time I see a gp they give me good advice. Thought eConsult service which is now the only way in to an appointment is next to useless. I wanted an appointment for a common condition that is not listed on the eConsult platform. I had to say that I had a cough and hope that a GP read the message I left. Service like that let’s a really good surgery down.

Understand this frustration. The eConsult platform is a national IT system, we have no control over this. What you did is the right way to use it. If the exact condition doesn't appear, use a reasonable alternative. We will act on what you write, not the headline at the top.

I recently had a health concern and called the hall grove practice. The reception arranged for my doctor to call me back, and not only did they call quickly, I was seen that very afternoon. I am very pleased with the excellent service from hall grove and parkway surgery.
