I phoned today to speak to someone about my concerns and what they advised me to do. After mentioning they had no appointments (which i understand) they advised me to ring 111. After speaking with 111 they said that they were referring me back to the GP as they had a duty of care, I was advised to see someone in the next 24 hours. Advised me to give them another call. (Even though I had already explained to 111 that they have no appointments, they said they set aside appointments for 111 referrals) so that's what I did I rang them back. At this time I was told that there was no appointments and that I would need to ring 111 back to speak to a clinician. They refused to listen to me and my frustration, kept putting me on hold, in hopes I would go away. Such a sad experience that's made me give up seeking medical attention

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you feel you had such a negative experience this is certainly not what we strive for. Due to capacity we do not always have appointments available at all times, we have on the day and pre bookable available. Once these appointments are filled patients are triaged and signposted accordingly and appropriately. We have slots available for 111 to book into directly but only 111 can book and not the Practice. Reception staff very friendly , polite & do utmost to help Extra step taken by them to organise an appointment I needed Investigation and referral that I needed were organised without any delay Doctors listen and my consultation was patient centred. Very happy with the GP surgery

Receptionist not taking the whole message so when you see the doctor they won’t listen to you. Doctor doesn’t listen to the patient. Maybe you need to review your doctors behaviour when they see their patients. We patients come to see the GP because of a reason.

I’ve just come home from hospital after major spinal surgery and the hospital didn’t send me home with sufficient pain meds, the staff messaged the doctor and made sure I got the much needed meds the same day, they also kept me informed as to what was happening until the prescription was issued. Many thanks to the team. I’ve always found them very helpful, polite and willing to go the extra mile to assist.
