I've only ever had good experiences with this practice. I've submitted e consults and had rapid and appropriate responses. A particular thanks to the doctor I spoke with who was kind and helpful.

Very unhelpful staff in reception. Poorly trained, aloof and distant. Receptionists had call someone to access my prescription record. told to re-register as they thought, wrongly, I had been unregistered. gave no information as to why this had taken place. needed a repeat prescription, there response, not bothered!

After I was diagnosed with a serious skin condition I received superficial support for the chronic condition. I believe I was entitled to a complete care package. Not sure where the funding for this went.

I was pregnant and registered with this practice. I called them many times .They don't give me appointments and don't call me back. This resulted in mis courage and losing my baby My advice keep away from them

It used to be almost impossible to get an appointment at this practice, with booking only weeks ahead. Today I phoned to get an appointment for my daughter and was told I had to phone or come into the practice at 8am on the day. They only give out same-day appointments. This is even worse - what if I don't get one? How can I plan? Even the receptionist agreed that it's a stupid system. Why do they operate like this? Useless.

I told the GP about my severe constipation and he seemed to think that this was due to my lack of exercise. He struggled to understand that it is unsafe for me to go outside because Islington has a number of unsavory characters ; he then proceeded to give me a nonsense referral to a 'stress project' which is run by another nonsense professional.

Please stay away from this surgery. The GP who dealt with me was so rude and unprofessional. He only seemed to be interested in giving me anti-depressants. He simply would not respect my feelings to refuse the anti-depressants. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

I phone yesterday to ask for some advise, for an appointment for myself and my son. The receptionist I talked with was very helpful, got both myself and my son an appointment. She has really went beyond to try and help. I was very grateful. Thank you so much.

I am a Father of medical condition children and also my wife had severe chronic illness and Hanley primary care help me, when l mostly needed, to have part-time at my work, for medical reasons of my family, and the reception was great, helped me today, when l need to write a letter of my medical condition, l have received helpful people. Thanks a lot, you did very well for me, you deserve more than thanks

It was not uncommon for me to call the practice to request appointments with the nurse and experience unpleasant interactions with staff members who are rude, short, and lack professionalism or care as though they are picking the phone up just to stop it from ringing. This recent experience is another example: Back in July 2023, I emailed Primary Care Centre about my permanent move out of the England and requested online access to my medical records for my future GP to refer to. I was subsequently sent details to Patient Access account. 3 months later, after attempting to log in again but this time from my new location (outside of England) I was unable to access my old British tel number to verify account login via text. I contacted technical support but I have yet to hear back from them (2 weeks have passed at this point) so I contacted Primary Care Centre to assist with access another way or verify via email. In reply to my query via email, it was met with the same tone as most of my telephone calls to the practice - short, abrupt, no care, did the absolute minimum they possible could. Ignoring the grammatical errors scattered throughout their responses, in one of their replies the receptionist didn't even bother to complete the sentence before hitting "send". It's absolutely infuriating and amazing that they were somehow hired!
