Review titled Generally good practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 January 2024
Pleasant and happy to resolve problems if they can but not always. Sometimes difficult to get the right answer. One time for bloods sent to Hillingdon Hospital and wasted my time and did not happen due to no fault of mine and person who attended to me seemed not to be aware that what was suggested to me was not possible as per Hospital.

I was in A/E over the new year. when discharged, i was told speak to your doctor about further investigation. When I went to the doctors for an appointment about chest pains I was told it was not an emergency by the receptionist. How is a receptionist qualified to judge what is an emergency and what is not

Review titled Worst and laziest practice and gps ever
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 26 June 2023
I’m running out of words, what can discribe this practice. Absolute shambles. 6-7 people sitting sipping coffee playing solitary behind the reception, impossible to get appointment even after an accident. They lie and they’re so unhelpful. You can guarantee if they promise you they’ll do something, it’ll never happen. I don’t even think there are any doctors working there you never see them. Been waiting for my Sicknote more than a week, been told by the receptionist don’t worry they’ll send it by 1pm it’s nearly 2 nothing happened and now nobody’s picking the phone up. So I had to walk in, 20min for somebody to finally talk to me and to inform me that it’ll will be with me by today.well let’s see. I don’t understand why I’m paying for these people to have somewhere to sit and drink tea. I’m sorry but this is an absolute nightmare.

Got an appointment the same morning. Doctor identified the problem and the most straightforward solution with clear explanation of what might constitute a worsening of the situation and what to do if that happened

Review titled Caring and effective practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Johanne Watson - Posted on 03 July 2023
The GPs have been very kind and caring during a difficult time and after recommending that I attend A&E telephoned me on 2 occasions the following week to check how I was and to reassure me. I really appreciated this as my symptoms were very alarming. The GPs have managed my condition effectively whilst I am waiting for further treatment from the hospital. Thank you for seeing me quickly and spotting I had something which needed urgent hospital attention.

Review titled Poor experience.

Had a phone call presumably to review a few things. When I looked at my records to see what had been entered, some of it was pure fiction. It said I was not interested in doing even basic exercise. In fact exercise was not discussed. Also, after admitting being a smoker, it says ex-smoker! Surely we should be able to expect absolute accuracy in our records. I am now considering recording phone calls in future so I that I have proof and can take appropriate action.

Review titled Lousy

My wife put in her repeat prescription 5 days ago as it is desperately needed and it has not been processed by her GP so that she can collect it from her pharmacy. I have been waiting to speak to someone from the GP for 1 hour 22 minutes and 23 seconds. An absolutely awful practice who need to be investigated

Been trying for over 2 weeks to get an appt. The patches site just crashes and after 1 minute it closes for new requests. Its so frustrating and upsetting.

Review titled Appalling service

Trying to speak to a receptionist. Surgery is opened until 6.30pm. I phoned at 6pm, 30+ callers in the queue. At 7.15pm I got to no.1 with an automated message constantly playing. At 7.42 still in the queue at which point I hung up. Unacceptable patient service.

Review titled Excellent consultation

Had a face to face with my doctor today with regard to my memory problems. The doctor was sympathetic and understanding about my concerns and we had a constructive and unhurried conversation with strategies for me to enact. I felt valued.
