  1. Review titled incompetent care

Rated 1 star out of 5

On 18 June I presented to a locum that I had severe disabling headaches. A referral was made for an urgent MRI. Harrow road said the letter had bounced back as they had forgotten to add details of GP. I have rang the diagnostics centre and the GP 5 times for a period total of 1.30 duration between Gp and diagnostics centre. The Diagnostics centre have even rang the GP with correct email to send referral to. They have still not done this. Despite saying a week ago that through 48 hour triage they would resolve issue. I am needing an MRI to check against lesions in my brain. This is an appalling service from Harrow road. They get everything wrong and put lives at risk from not doing the basics properly. The diagnostic centre have said twice that it isnt fair that the patient is having to chase this when they are in pain and need care.

I received first class treatment at the surgery including that of the doctors and administration staff. I was given excellent advice which I have taken on board and greatly appreciate. Thank you

  3. Review titled Pathetic reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Aamena - Posted on 05 June 2024

I called 2 weeks ago regarding a cyst on my face which is bruising. The GP booked me with out of hours remote call as they did not have any apts. I rang today to get another apt as the cream the out of service is not helping. The receptionist said there is only available apt in 2 weeks time. It is appalling that my condition will not get treated until 4 weeks and it is causing so much distress to me. I have explained I cannot do certain times as I work in healthcare and cannot cancel my own patients to come to a Gp apt. If the GP had booked me for a face to face initially my issue would have been sorted. They need to fix their appointment system and take into consideration nhs key workers too.

I called the out-of-office hours GP clinic and learned that my telephone consultation had been cancelled without my knowledge.

  6. Review titled Difficult to get appointments

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 March 2023

I received a call from the surgery twice to tell me to book a GP appointment. I have rang back and receptionist said they do not have any appointments left. I have asked for an appointment in advance and no chance of one. I have asked over the phone that why did the voicemail say book an appointment when you have non available and the lady did not reply. I have been sick for over a week and cannot get an appointment.

  7. Review titled Good practice

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Dissatisfaction of the explanation. I was feeling unwell for few days with what I was explained by Gp as suspected urine infection. I was prescribed antibiotics. Just recently uploaded NHS application and noticed that in my records is written that the problem is suspected urine infection and alcoholism. I am completely shocked as I have not been asked about my alcohol consumption or even mention about it. I was in intense pain for few days, without proper sleep, absolutely exhausted from pain and discomfort. How even it is possibly to assess me like that? I always thought that health care professionals are here to help and support, not make such wrong judgment!

  8. Review titled Swtft response

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I called the surgery twice Tuesday 31st January, 1st February 2023. I would like to congratulate the surgery on the speed as to the answering of the phone. Whether the last two days were a fluke or the telephone sytem has changed, well done and carry on the good work. What a pleasure no stress waiting for phone to be answered.

  9. Review titled Shambolic. No baby changing rooms for dads

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Attended my baby appointment. Had to use the disabled wc to change nappy because only female wc have baby changing facilities. Nhs or gp practice should be prosecuted for gender discriminatory services.

  10. Review titled Unsympathetic

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 September 2022

Sat there 20 minutes for an appointment. The machine didn't check me in properly, I didn't know. Receptionists were completely unsympathetic, all 3 of them staring me down, I begin to cry and they all just give weird looks at each other, rather than trying to reassure me or be kind. Very rude staff and I will be changing practice asap.
