This practise never answers the phone and when they Finally do their are never any appointments available. They always suggest ringing back tomorrow at 8am, give 111 a call or visit A+E , After a week of calling every day at 8am with no success I actually had enough of calling and visited the practice to find the place was empty and No patience waiting to be seen by GPs, I asked the receptionist if I could book an appointment and I was told at this point they don't take appointments over the desk only by telephone calls. So I am still no further forward in gaining a GP Appointment, it looks like I am going to have to visit A+E when I can fit it in after work or on a weekend. This practise is a total joke and should be ashamed of itself.

This wonderful practice has become unobtainable to us who live closest. My doctor who knew all about me and members of my family is out of bounds. I've managed one telephone appointment in 8 yrs. I was told that all I must do is ask for them. Face to face is a no no yet it's my nearest practice. Why do we have to go miles even though your told there are specific nurses and doctors at the practice. I have other issues and all this does is upset me and make me give up. It's all since they joined the partnership which they joined. I know that the particular doctor paid when they joined after a particular doctor was removed. Now it's not the receptionist It's a call centre, whom I find can't really help. GP records and test results are supposed to be available on the NHS website and patient access. Where? Mine aren't. I write emails. I do not receive answers. Please, please can we go back to how it used to be. Personal and not having to tell your medical record and such every time because they only have time targets to meet. 10 minutes is certainly not long enough to receive proper advice and care. What is going on in the world. Oh! I forgot I getting old.

can never get through on telephone. Then when do after waiting hours, sometimes an hour to get into waiting queue of 50. Never can see same doctor.

The knowledgeable receptionist had an exemplary friendly most helpful manner while dealing with my query. I was seated in the waiting area for some time and saw her listening patiently to a dozen or so patients of all ages and sorting out their different requests. It was my first visit to the Practice and felt valued and very welcomed. Thank you.

Tried to get an appointment today for other reasons and some eye drops needed for forthcoming eye operation. Felt like I was being up in court on trial and cross questioned by receptionist who is not a doctor! Since merging with other practices has gone downhill significantly. Not many good reviews from other GP's around either. Had to call hospital instead to get eye drops as left surgery angry. Doctors are good when you can get to see one and forget about trying to call in the morning. Some of the receptionists are very nice. Just one or two aren't.

My husband has called this morning at 8-20 and was 44 in the queue. After 35 minutes on the phone he has been given an appointment in 2 weeks time. We have been with this practice for over 30 years and since becoming SHPpartnership it has become more and more difficult to see a doctor, but there is very little chance of moving as there are hardly any practices locally who are not part of this group. This leaves us as elderly patients feeling extremely vulnerable.

I attempted to make an appointment after feeling very unwell for sometime. I was informed that there were no available appointments for the next three weeks. I was advised to call the surgery at 8am everyday for an available appointment, failing that I can call 101. I explained that I am a full time nurse working in the NHS and I haven't got the time or the facility to be phoning daily in works time, especially as you can be waiting for lengthy periods of time on the phone. Subsequently I paid privately to have a blood test. I received the results which were very concerning and was advised to contact my GP. I waited 20 minutes on the phone to be told there wasn't any available appointments for the next three weeks, despite me explaining my blood results. Again I was told to call every day at 8am. I really don't want to go off sick from work as I'm very passionate about my job but I'm failing to see what option I have left. At the same time I remain unwell and just want someone to review my results as it suggests I have a new diagnosis which requires treatment.
