  1. Review titled Kind and caring

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Went in for a blood test the other day. The phlebotomist was so sweet and caring, and really put me at my ease. There's a lot of stories in the news about GPs refusing to see patients, but at Hatch End Medical Centre, I've experienced the total opposite: they are always happy to book me for a face-to-face appointment Unlike some other surgeries I have been with they show genuine care and compassion. They truly listen to me as an individual and take the time to explain everything clearly and answer all questions thoroughly. I'm hugely grateful to the hardworking staff at Hatch End Medical Centre. Thank you.

  3. Review titled Great help

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Philip Harrison - Posted on 23 February 2023

I suffered a severe angina attack in the early hours of Friday morning, 17th. Feb. This caused me extreme concern (and pain) as I suffered a heart attack some 6/7 years ago and the symptoms were the same (except no dizziness this time). I contacted the surgery first thing the same day and was able to get an appointment at short notice to see a doctor who immediately arranged for me to be "fast tracked" to hospital A & E where I remained for the entire day for tests etc. The following Monday morning, 20th. Feb. I contacted the surgery and, again, at short notice, was able to obtain an appointment after explaining the situation. The doctor kindly arranged immediate referral to the hospital cardiology dept. who have already contacted me to have a telephone conversation to discuss my situation. Accordingly, I am extremely grateful to the surgery for their superb assistance and would add that they have always conducted themselves in that manner.

  4. Review titled Exemplary Patient-Centred Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The team at this surgery have gone over and above to ensure that my husband was taken care of, when I grew increasingly worried about his health. The receptionist was kind, compassionate and listened to my concerns. The doctor went out of her way to see my husband urgently, and he had the relevant tests done in a timely way to provide us with assurance. The phlebotomist was also lovely and slotted us in, despite this being a busy winter period. Given the pressures on the NHS, this is a great example of how far our primary care teams really do go for their patients. Thank you again.
