Review titled EPS still not fully embedded August 2023.
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 22 August 2023
We have been awaiting the day that finally means Electronic Prescribing. Notices were displayed within the Surgery and on the website. As of 22 August 2023, we are still unable to sign up to Pharmacy2U, the largest nhs online pharmacy. This is because both Scotter and Kirton Lindsey Surgeries look-up on Pharmacy2U still returns - "Currently does not support nhs Electronic Prescriptions". We informed the Scotter Surgery it was still not possible at the end of July 2023. Hoping this situation is remedied soon, so we eventually have the choice of a nominated nhs online pharmacy to deliver to our door.

Review titled Terrible attitude and service.
Rated 1 star out of 5

The practice is very poorly run, the attitude of the receptionists is terrible. The communication with patients is abysmal. I saw a doctor 30 minutes after my appointment time, which had been changed by them from Kirton, to Scotter, on the same day, the doctor prescribed me medication on the Tuesday which I collected from the chemist at the surgery. The following Monday, I got a call from the surgery to say the doctor had changed my tablets from 5mg to 10mg and could I go through and pick them up on that day. So at 3pm (giving them plenty of time to prepare them, I drove the 7 miles to the surgery and went straight in to chemist, I was told they hadn't got anything from the Dr. And to go back to reception, I stood in the queue and eventually saw the receptionist, who said, yes they had a new prescription it was changed last Thursday (2 days after I saw the Dr) so they would go see the chemist. The receptionist eventually came back and told me to go back to the chemist as they did have it. I went back and stood in the queue once again to see the chemist, who said "you didn't tell me it was from last Thursday" it's in a big pile waiting to be done, wait there and we will do it now, I apologised, and they said its not your fault. I wonder why nobody contacted me for 4 days to tell me the prescription was wrong in the first place?
