    Just after 2pm on Tuesday 9th July 2024, I took my son for a blood test at the Portland Street surgery. He had two letters about making two different appointments.One for a Mental Health Review and another for a NHS Health Check. The receptionist was extremely helpful in finding one date to accommodate both appointments, one after the other. We don't know her name, but she should me commended for her helpfulness and empathy with my son's requirements . I know that receptionists get a lot of stick from patients, sometimes due to wrong attitude , but this young lady has certainly being properly trained to solve patients requirements.

    Not very neurodiverse friendly. As someone who is autistic who struggles with communication I need clear and to the point communication they do the opposite. They also don't give out actual times for appointments just "you will be contacted between 9-5 on a certain date" which for someone like me is a nightmare. My recent appointment never happened and I don't know why. Did I misunderstand something? I probably did because the way they communicate is just so vague. I wouldn't even bother trying to phone them either never answer. Which is baffling to me considering they seem to have an excessive amount of admin staff as everytime I have been contacted by a receptionist its someone new.

    Title is self explanatory, over the phone the receptionists are rude and condescending, amd in person I have heard them gossiping/giggling about patients conditions and appearance/clothing. Weird workplace culture. However, all of the medical staff have always been exemplary and warm.

  4. Review titled Incorrect Text Message

    Today I received a text from the Heart Of Lincoln medical group informing me there was a referral letter for me to read. When I opened it, it wasn’t for me at all, it was for another patient in the surgery group. I felt awful that I had just read someone else’s private information. I feel slightly annoyed that whomever sent this to me didn’t look to check it was the correct name and address attached to it, and I feel anxious my information could be sent to someone else now.
