    2month not getting apoiment for child.call every morning 8am they give call back after 10,and sey no appointment

    Dear Agne Frankaite Thank you for speaking with me today. I am very sorry you have not been able to get an appointment for your child at the practice as we do try our best to see children as a priority. As we discussed today, we have lots of provisions around the city such as hub appointments and walk in centres, however I am aware after our discussion this was not appropriate for your needs. Please let the staff at the practice know when you call that you are booking the appointment for a child and they will do their best to accommodate your request. Our clinical rotas are on the system for non-urgent pre bookable appointments and are available up to 6 weeks in advance.     I called in the morning at 8am to get an appointment, when I get true they said no more appointments for today, I told the receptionist I really have to see a doctor today. But she was rude and she told me she can book me next week, this is ridiculous if I have a serious problems I can die by next week. Well done NHS

    I am sorry if your experience of the Practice did not meet your expectations. If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999. Receptionists are trained to ask a little information why you are calling; this helps to direct you to the correct clinician or service. If you require medical help then please call back and we will do our best to resolve.     I called up to book an appointment, was on hold for 45 minutes and was given the soonest available appointment which was in two weeks. I was told I would be called in the meantime to confirm time and what my issues were. On the day of the appointment after hearing nothing and spending another half-an-hour or so on hold, I find out that the appointment I've been given is a telephone-only appointment, sometime between nine and six, where the GP kind of just palmed me off and referred me to the hospital without really discussing the options. Not great service really.

    rang on 3 days in a row to get an appointment at 8.00 the time stated to be told there were no more appointments that day. On the last try I got sent over to middlewood road (I'm ill!) to see a nurse practitioner who said if I got worse to go back to my doctor. Rang this morning and was number 8 in the queue, it got to me being number 1 and I carried on at number1 for 17 mins when I hung up. Phoned back at 8.25 and at 9.15 I'm still waiting for a call back from reception, I certainly will not get to speak to a doctor. This used to be a good practice with great doctors and friendly helpful reception staff, it isn't any more ill be looking to change.

    Dear Patient I am sorry if you are having difficulty getting through on the phone. We have a call back facility, where the phone system will call you when you reach the front of the queue, this saves you hanging on the line. Or if you would like to call after 11am the phones are less busy then. I am keen to help resolve any outstanding issues but as your comment is anonymous I am unable to contact you.     The practice was previously very well run with very caring doctors. However I find the staff difficult to arrange appointments or collect items. I am looking at joining a new surgery. I have had some very unpleasant experiences with reception staff and others which has been distressing at times. Really sad as the surgery was previously one of the best in sheffield

It is really important that we are able to unpick if something hasn’t worked quite so well, then we are able to rectify the issue and put processes in place so it doesn’t happen again.
