    They seem to have problems in issuing prescriptions, showing that the prescription has been issued on their systems but not transmitting the information to the nominated pharmacy. This has happened on more than one occasion. I ordered a repeat prescription on 26 October 2024 and I have found out today that they did not transmit it to my nominated pharmacy even though the NHS app as well as their own app called systemonline are showing that they issued the prescription on 28 October 2024.

I am Terrie, the Operations Manager at Helix Medical Centre and I am sorry you feel you have had a negative encounter. I would be keen to ensure your records are assigned to your chosen pharmacy to avoid this problem happening again. Please contact our reception to check what pharmacy you are nominated to and if incorrect, we can action and change immediately. I will discuss with my reception team and encourage them to confirm with patients what pharmacy they wish their medication to go to.     Increasingly poor customer experience - real nightmare getting prescriptions and repeat prescriptions sorted - takes forever to get repeat prescriptions approved - I have now been without key medication for weeks and the surgery appear to do very little… Doctors and nursing staff fantastic - but let down by a shambolic approach to administration Telephone system and methods of contact are extremely poor - and staffing levels far too low
