Review titled Incompetent Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

I called detailing I am feeling extremely ill, they tell me the earliest appointment is in two weeks, I should go to the pharmacy. What an utter embarassment from the receptionists, they have a duty of care to the patients, they are far off from fulfilling that

Review titled Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5

After not receiving an emergency phone call from my doctor arranged by 111, I proceeded to call the surgery today be answered by a receptionist who was less than professional and compassionate. After calling me darling, she then hung up. She has no idea of the ergancy of these appointments. If they weren't urgent 111 wouldn't arrange then for us. Speaking with her has made me feel very uncomfortable and unconfident in the practices efficency and professionalism

Review titled Great practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

The reception is very poor and the staff is of no help,as had a medicine review with the doctor on 16/2/2024 which was increased, and the prescribed medication had run out, when visited the practice to say that to leave a message for the doctor was told we can not do that, and was ask to speak to the doctor, when you call in the morning at 8am you are put on hold for 45minutes then disconnected. So I have no choice but leave this review as the staff need better training. My experience with the staff is like talking to amateur. And the receptionist was getting frustrated while explaining the situation.

Review titled Poor service provided by reception staff
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 August 2023
I’ve found the doctors at this surgery to be very caring and professional but the service offered by the reception staff and administrators is very poor. As a cancer patient, I sent an email requesting a repeat prescription of dressings but the incorrect dressings were issued to me. I then sent a further email pointing out the error and even called the surgery and was told by the receptionist to call again two further times on the same afternoon - even then my query was not resolved. The receptionist has a rude and abrupt manner and hadn’t heard of the word ‘adhesive’ when I was describing the dressings I required - hardly a medical term. She asked me to even call after 6pm when she knew the line dealing with prescriptions would be closed so I had to speak to someone else on the general callers line who had to look into my query again and who told me that I should have sent an email! I explained that I had sent two emails and made three calls to which I was then told to call again in the morning and make an appointment to speak to a GP. I don’t need to speak to a GP, I simply need a repeat prescription… How many calls and emails do patients need to make for a simple repeat prescription for a box of non-adhesive dressings? I appreciate that doctors surgeries are busy but surely issuing a simple repeat prescription should be straightforward. Patients deserve a better level of service than this!

Review titled Awful practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

I rang at 8am to make an appointment for my son however after 45 minutes of waiting I'm told that there are no appointment's available. I am given an out of hours hospital number which only opens at 6.30pm or I am told to take my son to a walk in centre. So my son poorly as he was had to be taken out in the cold to go to the walk-in Clinique. There I'm told that his got an infection and will send the information to the GP. By the time we got home, I call GP and I'm told no info received and no medicine will be prescribed for my son and that there is nothing they can do. How terrible is that? You can die and no one cares. Horrible practice, we can never make an appointment, all they do make your life more miserable.
