I know there are a lot of stories about surgery only offering same daya appointments but last time did get an appointment which is almost impossible, ring back tomorrow all appointments taken, did finally get an appointment and seems to be have a blood test, then you have to chase them for the results only to be told no appointments ring back tomorrow when all you want to know is the results they asked you to have tested, they have now closed down the online form to contact them and ring the number which is the same number you can't get through to, my wife often phones and it will be 1-2 hours on hold only to be told no appointments ring back tomorrow, even if you walk into the surgery you get the same, you rarely get to see the same GP and get a different story from each, ask about the previous appointment and seems nobody has put any notes on the system so each time have to start from scratch, and typically if they don't know go for a blood test, I think just to get rid of you, we are in the process of moving GP for my wife and son, even then the receptionist at the new proposed GP asked where moving from and she said oooh I understand not a good experience is it

  3. Review titled Credit where it due.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Called in surgery Monday morning at 0835, and asked if any appointments still available. Receptionist said yes and what was my problem. I told her and she said would a ten past four appointment be OK, to see an actual doctor at the surgery. Must admit I was a bit taken aback after my previous "excursions". All went well and got referral. This is how surgery should run and let's hope this continues.

  4. Review titled no duty of care shown

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Due to a knee injury i have had to have an x ray , which was done on 12/4/2023. The hospital said the Doctor would contact me will the results. As i had heard nothing by the 20/04/2023 i rang the surgury and was number one in the queue . I hung on for 35 minutes but did ni get through. So iwent into the surgury on the 21/4/2023 to see if the results had come back . I was advised by yhe receptionist that they had and i had to be referred to a DR. I was advised to ring at 8.00 monday morning which as you aware it is impossible to get through . I would have thought that if i needed refering to a Dr as i assume i may have a problem then you would have contacted me to discuss ,but unfortunalty i was told you dont do this .

  5. Review titled Totally unacceptable

Dispite having a fairly serious Blood problem along with a terrible Skin issue, I have only managed to see a doctor once, phone system and trying to book a face to face or even A telephone cll back form a doctor is impossible. I have queued up at 8am with other people outside the surgery trying to get a face to face with a doctor onlt to be told no appointments left today, i even witnessed ayoung frmale being turned away who's Inhaler had run out and was coughing and clealrey in distress only to be told sorry no more appointments left for today. Every single person on these queues say exactly the same, that this surgery seems to have it's own rules which do not seem to include the patients. Should be shutdown and reoened with people that actually care and who are sympathetic and wantto serve the local community. Absolute farce the NHS really need to look into what is going on with this surgery, or close it and stop wasting good money on a totally in humanie and cold place.

  6. Review titled Do Not Register With This Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Rebecca - Posted on 17 May 2023

I got sick at Christmas just a regular cold, but after 2 months the coughing kept getting worse not better. Tried everything over the counter, nothing helped. Call the surgery, told no appointments, call back tomorrow at 8am. Call back at 8am, sit on hold for 2 hours, they finally answer, no appointments. Can’t make an appointment for tomorrow, or next week, or next month, only same day. I go in the next Monday, I am 3rd person in line. Receptionist comes out when they open, tells everyone there is a computer problem, so go home and they will call. I wait all day, no call. I have to miss work to wait, since I am not allowed phone calls at work. Go in the next day, first person in line, in line from 7am. They open, no appointments, how the heck is that possible when they only do same day appointments. Finally told I can see the nurse. I figure sure. Nurse sees me and misdiagnoses what I have, because she wouldn’t listen to what I was telling her. Ended up in A&E a week later. I have been registered with this surgery for 6 years and have never been seen by the doctor. I’m beginning to doubt he exists. Fair warning once you register here no other surgery in the area will let you register regardless of the what the NHS website says.

  7. Review titled Very very poor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 March 2023

Cnt fault the receptionist. But pity I cnt say the same for the doctors had cause to ask for a repeat prescription for pain relief. Only to be told I did not need them .trying to work out how this doctor can make this assumption. having never ever met me .maybe he's a mind reader .and he knows the amount of pain iam in. Who knows. Very very disappointed. Wish I had not registered at this practice. As I said reception staff and nurses are absolutely brilliant. Xx

  8. Review titled Slow. Inefficient. Incompetent.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 January 2023

No point in ringing for apptment as they don't answer so now every morning there is a queue of about 10 people by 8am. They still won't give you an appntment - all you get is 'The doctor will ring you to discuss'. When the phone rang 2 hours later I missed the call so rang back to be told I'd been crossed off and anyway there's no appntmnts left today (!!!) 'try again on Monday'. Something fundamentally wrong with this surgery. Utterly useless.

  10. Review titled The worst

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 November 2022

Terrible - no appointments for adults or children. Call at 8 am (school run time), attended in person to be added to a call list. No time given as to when to expect a call. As I work the call was missed, the message told me to ring back. The Dr would take the call and I have to start again tomorrow. Staff rude and argumentative. If you have a choice register elsewhere!!! Words are not enough for what a shambles this practice is!!
