The reception staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived. The GP took the time to explain everything well. His kind and caring nature has helped to support me to find the right treatment and I’m really grateful. Thank you. Highly recommend this practice.

At my GP appointments, the GP(mh) has been great. She is a good listener, respectful, knowledgeable and pragmatic. She has understood the full impact that my back injury is having on my work and personal life, and is helping me forge a route forwards, hopefully to a proper recovery.

I was concerned about a possible ear infection, which turned out to be quite serious. I rang first thing to make an appointment and was seen by a doctor within a few hours. I needed antibiotics which were available immediately at the local chemist.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the doctors at your practice, particularly in regards to my child’s health. On multiple occasions when he was unwell, the doctors demonstrated remarkable professionalism, expertise, and genuine concern for their well-being. During these visits, the doctors not only listened attentively to our concerns but also provided valuable advice and treatment options. I deeply appreciate how seriously they took each situation and their efforts in alleviating our worries while addressing the health issues effectively. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding the challenges in securing appointments. It has become increasingly difficult to obtain same-day appointments, which was not the case previously. While I understand the constraints faced by the practice, I believe improvements in appointment availability or scheduling systems could greatly benefit patients in need of urgent care. Despite this concern, I must commend the reception staff for their exceptional service. They have consistently been helpful, accommodating, and courteous, contributing to a positive overall experience. In summary, while I am extremely satisfied with the care provided by the doctors and the professionalism of the staff, I believe there is room for improvement in the appointment scheduling process to better meet the needs of patients.

Dear Ceylan Thank you for your positive feedback. We have looked at our demand and capacity in regards of appointments and have identified many areas that need to be worked on not only by the practice but also patients. We do not offer same day appointments as we believe if you need a GP appointment then patient should be able to call and get an appointment. However, we do ask patient to phone any time of the day and if there has been a cancellation then we can offer this to you. Our reception staff have been trained to signpost patient to appropriate services when they call for appointments. Did you know that the NHS England have trained pharmacist called Pharmacy First - they can see patient for the following conditions. Community Pharmacists can if appropriate supply antibiotics. Urine Infection (female only) Impetigo (skin condition) Acute Sore Throat Shingles Infected Insect Bites Acute Sinusitis Ear Pain We also have the following health professionals working at the practice. • In-house physiotherapist - for back/should/leg pain • In-house Dietician – weight concerns - • In-house pharmacist – medication queries • In house mental health practitioner - mental health issues Patients also needs to take responsibility and book appointment appropriately. Our audit has shown miss use of the appointments by a minority of patient for minor ailments that can be self-managed with the help of the local pharmacist. Practice Manager

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment even when you have a chronic disease and need medication and/or to see a doctor. One receptionist is very arrogante, rude and disrespectful and usually disregards your need to see the doctor and refuses to book appointments. The only good thing is when you get an appointment the nurses and doctors are excellent.

I’m about to start my second round of IVF and have found both the GPs and reception staff really helpful. Navigating treatment on the NHS and then privately is really stressful, but I’ve always found my GP practice has done everything they can to help.

Very happy w response when I rang when my young child was sick. Offered appt that morning, seen on time by a dr with a very nice manner... a short course of antibiotics later he is fully better. Always have a good experience w this surgery.
