Came off the phone to the infuriating Receptionist at this surgery, who couldn’t answer my simple questions as to the details of my urgent prescription the Doctor was supposed to of approved for the Pharmacy2U app. Her demeanor was so caught up in how she appeared that she forgot that she actually had a job to do. She put me on hold 3 times all without explaining why she was doing so properly beforehand, at one point said ‘I’m confused’ at my simple request, called my male Doctor a ‘she’ and after the longest wait putting me on hold didn’t explain what was going on but proceeded to be unhelpful. She made me go all around the houses ringing various people without putting in any work to attain the information needed. I’m sure these doctors receptionists just sit there and care about how they are supposed to sound rather than being an efficient worker who is serving the patients. They expect wages for poor delivery. She also expected me to wait all afternoon on the day of an upcoming phone appointment, just for a possible call from my Doctor, and couldn’t confirm a time for said appointment on the phone?! As if I haven’t got anything better to do than wait for a Doctor to ring, or not! Terrible service
