  1. Review titled Rude reception

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Not such a good experience at Surgery. The reception are rude and not kind. No listening to me and dismiss my worry. I feel unwell still but rude receptionist said no appointments and if I still sick to go to the hospital. Why can't I ever get help at my surgery. It is so bad very poor help.

  2. Review titled Woeful Reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Wow! it surely can't get any worse. Although the Doctors are good how on earth can they run an efficient surgery when the Reception show such disregard for patients needs. The surgery needs to work as a team and I agree with other reviews which suggest urgent training is needed for Reception and Management staff many of whom make ridiculous excuses for not helping the patient. Woefully inadequate team work which of course shames the entire surgery. Not surprised by dreadful reviews. and of course it says a lot that no one from Hillview takes time to address or respond to the reviews.

  3. Review titled Receptionist said I was blackmailing her

Rated 1 star out of 5

It is with huge regret that I am writing this note about the reception desk as I had been registered with this GP practice for 28 years. This irresponsible receptionist held me on the phone for 25 mins. Although I was told I was the first caller I had to wait for 12mins before the reception desk answered the call. Then she put me on hold for another 10 minutes. She then went on to say I was trying to blackmail her. I told her that she ought not talking and using the words that are inappropriate for a GP surgery. These lot ought to be sent to training courses "How to talk over the phone". Shocking and unbelievable to say the least!!!

  4. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Hillview Surgery has always been amazing to both myself, my partner and my parents. My mother who is now aged 90 gets very good care there not just from the Dr but also the nurses. Never have any issues calling getting an appointment. This morning I turned up after silly accident with a cutting myself and walked in at 8am and was seen by the nurses without no appointment and they dealt with my cut and told me to come back on Friday to change my dressing. All have smiles on their faces and friendly. Would highly recommend Hillview Surgery to anyone. Keep up the good work.

  5. Review titled Hands down the worst GP in London

Rated 1 star out of 5

It hasn’t been possible to get an appointment here since about 10 years ago. It’s a rat race for an “emergency appointment” you have to call at 8am on the dot to request a same day urgent appointment. That’s the only option you have. And they don’t even answer the phone. If they do answer, they’re always rude and dismissive. If you’re on hold until 8.05am, high chance there are no appointments left. You’re not allowed to discuss more than one issue at an appointment. Doctors aren’t there to listen to patients either. Extremely dismissive and frankly useless. The all read from the same script “what do you want me to do about it?” Followed by “we can’t offer you that” It’s a waste of time going in if you ever get an appointment. You’re better off going straight into a&e or self diagnosing online. Referrals are £25. And you have to pay for doctors notes. Every single time I have a health problem, I think of my gp and realise there’s no point looking for help so I let things get worse or escalate. This has been the case for as long as I can remember and I can’t help but feel like if I had a better GP a lot of health issues could have been avoided.
