    Dropped a letter from ENT doctor on the 9th April to request for GP to prescribe medication, I was advised by reception staff on that day that it would take 3 working days. On the 17th I left work early to pick up prescription only to be told wasn’t ready and would take a further 3 days. No apology for Mis- informing me or the inconvenience it has caused. In total it will have taken over two weeks to issue a prescription.

    My nurse was absolutely brilliant with me. She gave me advice on my newly diagnosed endometriosis (which she didn’t have to) she was so informative, couldn’t ask for a better nurse. She’s the best thing about this GP surgery. Absolutely amazing nurse, an asset to this practice

    We were see by a Dr and a nurse. My child has complex needs including autism and ADHD. He has severe medical anxiety. The Dr and nurse treated my child with the utmost care. He was about to have a meltdown and tried to leave but the Dr came up with a great idea - spatula puppet! It immediately put him at ease. The Dr and nurse were both obviously well versed in additional needs and approached my child with gentleness and nurturing care. They even kept verbal communication to a minimum so as not to stress him out. I am so so grateful to the team. This could have been a disaster but they turned it into a positive experience for us all. Thank you team. With any other approach, my child would have been out the door and would not have received the medical attention he needed. It means a lot.

    I went for a smear test today and I could not have asked for a nicer, kinder nurse. She was really friendly and reassuring, very thorough making sure that I had a general health check up in addition to the smear test, and also gave me some really helpful advice. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful woman, she is a huge asset to the surgery

    I had my NHS health check up with a Nurse at Hilly Fields. From check-in to check up, the whole process was incredibly smooth and I received great health guidance from my Nurse as well.

    I was seen by a Nurse to review my test results and medication. It was recommended that my meds should change. She explained the reason, all the side effects and how it should be taken. My experience with the Nurse was very pleasant. She had a friendly manner but maintained her professionalism. She answered all the questions I asked. There was some concern regarding my blood pressure so she arranged a telephone appointment for me on Wednesday I left the surgery feeling comfortable and confident what we discussed.

    I have been trying for days to book a smear test. You only have three options of appointments you can book via Patient Access or the NHS app - two relating to flu jabs, one a COPD etc. appointment. No general appointments or smear tests. When you call during opening hours it says they cannot speak to you and it ends the call. If patients cannot book general appointments and smear tests - you are not providing adequate services. Please explain to me how I can book a general appointment or smear test?

    I have high blood pressure and suffer from migraines.. the doctor listened to me an ran tests and prescribed what medication suited me best.

    It's very difficult to get an appointment, my phone will not allow me to join the queue at 8am as its too congested. I would like the system to go back to being able to book routine appointments / telephone appointments through the NHS app. It makes you feel like theres no point trying to go as it feels exhausting trying to be seen.

Appointments are released daily at 8am and can be booked via the NHS app. The app displays appointment availability across all five of our sites, regardless of a patient’s registered site, and these appointments are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
