    I order my prescription regularly & always get in time. I had some problem with prescription last time and I was dealt with very nicely and explained the reason. Our surgery is very good & all staff & clinicians along with nurses are very polite,helpful &supportive.

    There is an app to facilitate the patient's request, but it is not possible to schedule an appointment. Also unfortunately, when I asked to have blood tests done to see if I'm in good health, the GP informed me that he wouldn't give them to me because I was fine. In other words, do not exercise a precaution.

    Dear Singrid, Thank you for leaving your feedback and sorry you haven't had a very positive experience with us. We don't routinely do blood test for patients who are well and don't have any symptoms or concerns. We do however invite patients in for an NHS health check when they turn 40 - this will include a blood test. If you are over 40 and haven't had your free NHS health check then do let us know and we can arrange it. In the meantime take care of yourself and we wish you all the best.     I tried to explain my health conditions and asking for appointments. But they are not giving any appointments by saying we sent you the link, gone through it, we sent the medicine to pharmacy collect it. Without checking, based on few questions they come to conclusion that I have that problem.

    Too many mistakes are made regarding prescriptions. My prescriptions keep getting sent to the wrong pharmacy. Too short a time to speak on phone to GP. Always a long queue to on phone to speak to a dr. Not very satisfactory since Covid 19

As for telephone waiting times, we are aware this can be an issue and are trying to do our best to improve the situation for all of our patients. We receive in excess of 300 phonecalls every morning and do our best to get everyone the same-day advice or appointments that they need.     I called at 8am this morning I was given an appointment for 8.30am Saw a Dr and I was satisfied with the meeting and get a good dialogue with the Dr and the response and swift appointment together with the prescription and referral where a top notch and also satisfied with the very friendly and calm atmosphere of the GP surgery

    I sent my GP a text via our Systmonline app requesting a repeat prescription for my inhaler on Sunday 7pm. I knew it wouldn't be seen or acted upon until Monday morning. On Tuesday 8.30am I received an email alert stating my prescription had been ordered, and could be collected from my pharmacy. This was very quick and efficient, and I'm very grateful to my doctor for their promptness in facilitating me being able to obtain my medication in a timely fashion.

    I didn’t have a good GP growing up, so when I decided to change I looked for one that I thought would be there when I needed them and that is what I found with HiYOS (Firstcare). I appreciate that they are open for appointments on weekends and open later than other GPs. They take my asthma and mental health very seriously, getting in touch for regular check ups. Whenever I go in for appointments I always feel as though the person seeing me actually cares, which is really important to me. I’ve never left feeling as though I was not heard or believed, or even laughed out of the room when presenting a possible idea for what I’m experiencing (which has happened at my childhood GP surgery). I appreciate the way they’ve adapted post COVID, as it’s had a knock on effect to everything in the NHS. They have managed to work out a way where they utilise modern technology in a way that doesn’t feel cool, clinical and removed. I can now send in pictures of my physical ailment, to which they look at and send out the prescription if that’s what’s necessary, along with a message to my phone to explain their decision. If it’s something they cannot handle in this way then they’re quick to get you in in person to take care of the problem. I really appreciate all the hard work you do HiYOS, thank you and keep up the good work. I would highly recommend this GP.

Such detailed feedback is invaluable to us, it helps us understand what we're doing well and what we could do better. It's wonderful to hear that you feel valued as a patient, because all our staff at Hiyos really do care about our lovely patients. We have had to adapt a lot since Covid, and the most important part of that has been to listen to our patients and what they need and what they want.
