    I phoned for an urgent appointment & was told it would be next week before they could offer me any appointment. Absolutely disgusting.

    My husband called the reception to see whether he can convey a message to the GP that I am seriously in pain and need his/her advise on the next steps. I have been referred to a Gynecologist and I am not sure when I can see them. I already went in and saw a A & E Gynecologist and she asked me to contnue with cocodomole untill I get a letter from the referrel Gynecologist and to speak to the GP. I wanted to pass this message to GP via the reception and the lady at the Holbrooks Health team reception rudely spoke and said that she cannot pass any messages to the GP. I have passed messages to the GP in the past and the GP has called me back and advised what to do. Why is this particular receptionist being unhelpful and rude to people. I will publish her name in the papers if anyhthing happens to me . She wanted me to call GP tomorrow morning. I cannot wait untill tomorrow morning.

    I recently went to see this practice about an ongoing condition and was seen to by a student doctor who was actually very nice. But I did not know that they can't prescribe medication until actual doctor signs it off. Was a chore going backwards and forwards to pharmacy and reception to chase up my medication. On my second visit to student doctor about my ongoing condition I asked for a fit note for my work as they had requested it. Again the student doctor cannot issue this and has to be requested on the Holbrook's health site to be assessed by an actual doctor. I requested the fit note last Thursday and told it would be 48 hrs till I had a call or message. Still hadn't heard anything by Monday night so phoned to see what's going on. Then it took 5 mins for whoever I spoke to, to find it on the system. I was told it would be ready tomorrow (not so funny but tomorrow never comes) as it is now over 96 hrs and I'm still waiting for a call or message. I have had to return to work even though I am still not right because they going to stop my money as I still haven't produced a sick note. I am sick of phoning and going to the practice to chase them up for something that I requested per their own system. Obviously this system does not work. Very bad experience indeed.

    All this practise is interested in in products and services that they are targeted on or given bonuses for! They spend way too much effort pushing vaccines etc but none on actual patient care! They have a message system on this app but never read the messages left, and most definitely never respond, I have had situations where they were waiting for more information from me, but they never told me, so we were waiting weeks! My hospital consultant has just changed all medication, so will see how that goes.

    I have been with this practice for over 15 years, they used to be one I'd have recommended to anyone. Now, I can't get an appointment, when I do its not in my surgery but one with after hours appointments. If you have a test, you hear that everything is fine by text and theres no follow up (thats great, I still have the problem so can we work out what *is* wrong please!?!) I have a lifelong condition that I have received prescriptions for my whole life, only to try and order my repeat prescription last week, cut to this morning and I receive the absolute rudest text I have had from "professional" establishment, telling me my medication I've had for over 40 years is now part of self-care - if I could take care of it myself, I wouldn't put myself through trying to get a doctors appointment to get it reissued! I am frustrated, unhappy and stressed. Holbrooks Health Team have become shockingly bad, and please don't think its since Covid, it went downhill long before then, thats just given them an excuse to be even worse.

    Was told I had to see a GP on a given date, can't make appointments prior to the day. The GP I was supposed to see wasn't in. The GP I saw didn't increase my meds as I was told they would be. I suffer with mental health issues and was told I need "to let things go" and "be more positive". Great help, hadn't thought of that. I had previously had Covid which affected my heart, they knew my blood pressure was high but did nothing to follow up, had to submit blood pressure readings for a week via a link as I started new meds, doctor couldn't access them and asked me to write them on paper and drop them at reception. Blood pressure was high on day of appointment, nothing done, no follow up. Overall the appointment was pointless and a waste of my time, especially as my appointment was 40 minutes late.

    My mum at 76 had various illnesses and needs to speak to a dr regarding referrals and new problems. I have called and been told that the practice doesn’t open any appointments in advance! So basically you and many other patients requiring an appointment need to all call at 8am and pray you actually get an appointment? How on earth is this practical I agree with emergency appointments from illness that come on but not for a patient who’s happy to wait for an appointment. The reviews for this practice are appalling and all seem to be around the same ridiculous appointment system. I am now having to attend these appointments with my parents as they can get confused, so how do I as a full time worker get an appointment arrange with work to come out that time on that day to support my elderly parents, who so fare haven’t really had a good time with appointments in the past at this practice, but that is a completely different discussion for another day! I have already started the motion to remove my parents from a practice that to be honest I don’t now trust. I am very concerned I will be trying for weeks to get an appointment for my mum. Very very frustrated daughter!!!!

    I was suffering with back pain and an appointment was made to see a Senior Doctor after I reported a particularly painful weekend. The Doctor almost immediately homed in on the issue....but continued to do a thorough assessment. She arranged for an MIR scan to be considered on an urgent basis and spoke to the nuerology team at the Hospital... all while I was sitting in her surgery. I went to the hospital...but they sent me home... the Doctor persisted and suggested a private MIR scan and wrote a reference for me at 9 pm to ensure I could get the scan immediately. The results of the scan , confirmed her concerns that I had a prolapse disc and I needed some urgent attention. Having got these results back from the MRI scan she again contacted Coventry University within the hour and arranged for a specialist to assess me and provided a reference from the Surgery. She rang me at the Hospital at 8 pm to check something was happening. This is an example the Doctor\ Practice going above and beyond my expectations...and I am indebted to her for her help. Thank you
