Truly awful. Trying to get my 88 year old mother regular repeat prescriptions is a terrible experience and they are always late resulting in missing pills. Calling up no one answers you get put in a call back queue and never called back. She currently has ran out of one pill and has 3 days left on the rest even though she put in for her pills a couple of weeks ago. Shame there are no other local options

Dear Mike Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your Mums recent experience. We are sorry to hear that she has had difficulty ordering her medication. The average telephone queue duration for calls answered by dispensary has not been longer than 9 minutes since June 23. Recently it has been as low as 3 minutes. Unfortunately during the System transition this has slipped to around 25 minutes as we have been exceptionally busy with increased NHS app queries. Our Dispensing turnaround times have not breached 72 hours since Christmas 2023 up until 2 weeks ago. We have made good progress in bringing down ordering times for medication and we had seen significant improvement due to newly implemented processes and recent recruitment so we are as disappointed to now be facing this set back but we're working hard to address it. Our intention is never to leave any patients without medication, but we are currently asking for at least 7 days turnaround time. As your review doesn't provide any patient details we are unable to look into the specifics of this case however we would urge you to contact the surgery in person or via phone so that we can ensure a prescription is issued without delay. Telephoned at 8am and the call was answered straight away. I wanted an appointment for me elderly father, after completing care navigation an appointment was made for later in the day. We were seen by a lovely GP registrar who was very friendly, thorough and empathetic. The same day my niece received a call from the nursery to say they were concerned about her one year olds breathing. She called into the surgery and an appointment was made and she was seen by a doctor within the hour. A good experience from both ends of the age scale for this family. Thank you.

Waiting times for medication is unreal waited over a hour in a que for My medication They never answer the phones often waiting 40+ minutes before someone finally answers only to put ypu back on hold as it's not their department

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent experience. We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the current waiting times for dispensary and the telephone to be answered. Unfortunately we have seen a significant number of staff off due to illness in recent weeks which has impacted on our waiting times. We are working hard to ensure that we have adequate staffing levels in place and are continually recruiting to vacant posts. We ask for your patience and understanding whilst we address our current staffing shortages. Thank you

Had an appointment on Friday with a nurse, health check. While I was stood in the queue, I was very short of breath, I think the gentleman in front of me alerted the receptionist, next thing I know is the receptionist is taking me to sit down. Then they got a Dr to see me, on antibiotics for the 3rd time since January to clear this infection. Then still had my health check with the nurse. Absolutely brilliant service from all staff, well done Church View.
